A good spray of Axe is what CWC used to substitute actual showers with, wasn't it?
Didyoubathe.JPG

This is true

Is Chris targeting us, or his gal-pals? At first I thought he must be responding to people in the other thread saying he never bathes, but he seems to be a lot more focused on his new friends than us. Does Chris think "I use shampoo!" will impress his friends?

"I use shampoo, AND I was on the honor roll!!"

Ever notice how taking extra care to describe a relatively normal activity makes it sound like a lie? "I go to bed every night by putting my head on the pillow and getting under the covers before sleeping for the recommended 8 hours." sounds much less believable than "I get enough sleep."

Something tells me Christine isn't quite worthy of her rhyme yet.

The part about "pristinely not perfect" is pretty funny. Chris is actually very adamant about not being perfect, since that's his excuse for every single thing he does wrong.

"My God, did you just set fire to that orphanage?"
"I am not perfect; No One Is."

It seems as though he goes into unneccesary detail to make lies more convincing; "...daily shower with shampoo, conditioner, soap and water", "healthy food, good drinks and just necessities with Good Money", etc. Well, partly dishonesty, partly 'tism. 'Pristinely not perfect' sounds like one of those feel-good memes you see floating around and I totally agree with @Kosher Dill on it.

It's all moot anyway if the shower still resembles lower Blighttown... both places that are greatly improved by a bonfire.

I think @Twaughthammer just accidentally helped me realize what's been bothering me for ages about "just necessities with Good Money." Like otherwise, Barb is counterfeiting, and Chris has been helping her pass bad money all over town? No wonder bann keeps happening.

So now there's something else he's probably going to echo around.

Also, this reminds me of the times Chris posted about (mis)understanding the words "ad nauseum" and "prospects."
i must read that

pris·tine
ˈprisˌtēn,priˈstēn/
adjective
adjective: pristine
  1. in its original condition; unspoiled.
"pristine copies of an early magazine"
christine is not pristine

A good spray of Axe or Orion Body, probably. Idk if he ever actually said he's substituting actual showers with them but according to the wiki the comics(and his body odor) seem to imply it heavily.
He's always claimed to shower daily. He said that in the old IRC chats (I believe, it's some sort of chat it was in) and he claimed it again later.
I don't think he's lying about showering. I think it's a lot more likely that Chris simply has almost no body awareness. He probably stands in the shower, wriggles around in the water for a bit and gets out. Normal people know when they need to bathe, because they'll feel grimy. I think Chris has trouble with that.

I enjoyed reading your Kiwi Farms post on my 1920x1080 computer monitor, fellow human. Now I shall take a seven-block walk to the grocery store and exchange United States dollars for an assortment of foodstuffs. Upon returning home, perishable items will be refrigerated in a simulated cold-weather environment.

Just a normal human day where no puny blue planets get conquered!

He also will use synonyms a lot like they're a series.
