Fear and Loathing in Casa de Chandler

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

This will all change when Snorlax bites the dust. Chris won't know what to do, panics, tries to become the Tomgirl prostitute of his dreams, shits himself, then sets wherever he ends up residing at on fire to "burn away" the horrible memories of the past 34 years of his wasted life. Ten days later, after OPL has calmed down, he will realize that, "Holy shit, I incinerated my mothers corse and horde 2.0". This realization will come of course, after he is sitting in a jail cell or mental house and he realizes that there is absolutely no way out and his starts to care and miss his parents. Maybe, just maybe, something in that 10 year old brain of his will click, and OPL will show true remorse, and maybe some gratefulness for his parents putting up with his autistic ass.
I honestly think that if his mom passes relatively soonish then he will return to 14BLC and try and live there.

Care to elaborate on how? Violence isn't usually a priest's game.
It was a long time ago, so I don't remember all the details, but the priest was trying to squeeze the autistic kid who was having a fit/possessed by demons in an exorcism and accidentally crushed him to death. It wasn't intentional, but there you have it.

Barb's health is going to probably continue to decline, and she'll lose the will to fight. 14 BLC will be torn down, the lot cleaned up, and abandoned. Chris could probably get it back somehow with paperwork and it will go in the "unclaimed property" lists for some time, but he won't.

If Chris dies (or even if he's still alive, or in prison) and the back taxes aren't extremely high, Cole will probably take a move to reacquire it and sell it back to the market at a small profit. At that point, the reputation of 14 BLC will be so bad that any new owner will end up changing the address.

It's also possible that Chris will go to prison before Barb dies. Chris is more likely to go to prison through shoplifting (LEGOs rather than food) than doing something truly heinous (rape, murder).

Oh yea. I actually meant like if the house isn't demolished he would try and live in the condemned house. Like some sort of maniac. Or hobo.

Either the police will come and haul Chris away, that or the house caves in, trapping/killing OPL. That will be the last time the local C-Ville news would ever give him a mention...

Back on subject, I'm not sure if the Chandler clan ever really respected or loved each other. Maybe Barb and Chris in the past, but that has been corrupted into a bizarre parasitic/Oedipal complex. I don't think Borb cared that much for each other (they didn't just sleep in different rooms, they did practically nothing together later), and Chris and Bob seem to have a strained relationship too.

Chris has already expressed discontent with Barb with his calls for his pretty, organised sweetheart to swoop in and take him away from her and his demands for Coleslaw to drop everything and take over Barbsitting duties. The reality is that neither of them has anything else in life but the other, decades of spurious lawsuits, abrasive behaviour and an all round cuntish attitude towards anybody who doesn't immediately cede to their demands has ensured this.

Now the ultimate test would be to provide either one with an alternative host organism and see just how quickly the other is dropped.

That was tried for several years under the guise of "marriage" for one of the subjects.

I wonder if Barb was disappointed when Bob moved himself and their son back in after Chris graduated. I mean, without those two at the house there's just so much more room for Goodwill treasures.

Is there any information on when the first acquisitions for the hoard (and only the hoard) were made?
