My high school had a lolcow like Chris. Had that autismo look too. Complete sperg. Burned bridges with everyone who tried to show him pity. Not as autistic as Chris obviously and his internet presence isn’t that amusing. But the parallels are stunning.

I went to high school with this turbosperg who was a lot like Chris too, only reason he didn't become a lolcow was because he didn't have much of an internet presence since this was back when YouTube was barely a thing tho I like to think what could have been if "vlogging" and social media had been more popular back then.

I disagree with a lot of this. Except that Chris would be very hard to replicate.

While weening Chris is condemned here, and trolling retards is condemned by normies, trolls still exist. People are getting trolled as hard as Chris, if not harder, every day. There are many examples on this forum. Some have very active troll campaigns right this very moment.

The reason Chris is so entertaining is because of his reactions. Which is generally why trolling targets get chosen to begin with. It's how they react, the more they react the more trolls will be attracted to them. Chris reacted in very hilarious ways. Chris' reactions are what make him so unique, he's fucking funny.

I’d argue what sets Chris apart from other spergs is his overinflated pride from winning the sonic prize and being on tv a few times. It made him willing to say and do things that even the most autistic speds realize is stupid. And continue doing so despite facing real world consequences.

Strong disagree. If anything, the current generation is in share-everything mode, then turn into lolcows when anyone actually comments on the shit they put out there. They've usually self-doxed already on reddit or Twitter or, more likely both and probably multiple places.

There used to be no Chris and no real organized lolcow community, just a loose group of people making fun of livejournal drama, the original place for ridiculous levels of over-sharing. That community turned into ED (which is why a lot of the oldest articles there are LJ-related with people who mostly are no longer discussed). The general concept of lolcows moved out into the rest of the Internet as a name for a specific kind of Internet laughingstock.

If anything, the problem would be that a "new Chris" would almost be boring compared to some of what we have now, and we'd probably find out about him after he'd already doxed himself, trooned out, and started acting like a complete piece of shit.

I think because I've been following him so long, theres a sort of comforting familiarity to him. I enjoy the anxiety and cringe as you said and it's always fun to pop in and see whatever wierd shenanigans he got up to. Many of his antics and quotes have made me laugh so hard its difficult to feel any deep seated sense of resentment for him.

I'm shocked nobody has ever tried to play Kick the Autistic IRL, Chris is a notible weirdo in the area, infamous online, and attracted a lot of Low IQ weens attention. I'm with @Ophelia on this one, he'll likely look about the same maybe just a little less podgy and his hair will be it's normal colour and may have been cut but other than that nothing else apart from his attitude might have been corrected or at least he will have been trained to keep it under control mostly out of fear he'll be sent back to the funny farm with the rest of the fruits he dislikes or some form of medication.

Don't expect him to come out of this "Fixed" he's always going to be that guy who's ecentric even if he dropped the tom-girl crap right this second, he'll still ware age inappropriate clothing, be ungroomed, and wear strange shit like his pony head dildo, crown etc and it's only going to get worse as time goes on and he ages into more insanity.

Nothing can ever replace Chris as the circumstances of his internet stardom are next to impossible to repeat as

A campaign like the one seen in 2008 - 2011 nowadays would be heavily condemned and likely instantly shut down by most sites, making it confined to private discord servers or obscure chatrooms, making it extremely difficult to ever gain that much steam. If a situation like the "Julay Saga" were to happen again, its almost certain the ween would be doxxed within a week and chased off the internet.

Nowadays parents of Autists tend to put their kids into Special Ed schools more than they did in the early 90s as Autism has become less of a "taboo" subject. Another thing also is that if we assume a "future" Chris was born in 2022 and his parents were the same age as Chris's, they would've have to be born in 1982 and 1968, therefore making it likely they would be far more "willing" to put him into a Special Ed school.

If we do assume a "future" Chris's parents don't take him to Special ED and he grows up in similar circumstances to our Chris, its still unlikely he would ever get the same fame as the Internet has become far less "Wild West" and more Streamlined in recent years. Like i said in the first reason, this means that a weening campaign similar to that of the Late 2000s - Early 2010s weening would be stomped out almost instantly as realistically a "future" Chris would likely reside on sites like Twatter and Youtube, sites that are heavily Pro-Censorship

Yeah, the problem with autism is that these people don't know how to be socially aware enough to keep a low profile. The other problem is that Chris is a very special case.
