In general the reason i turned to goldselling was because I was bored and unsatifsied with the community, and for absolutely no reason what-so-ever the moment FF14 became the beacon of LGBTQ MMO's all the sex clubs and etc exploded and it was the first time I used addons for the No Soliciting filters to specifically filter that, and even then it was FULL of advertisements slipping past. It's madness to me that sort of thing has slipped out of the "RP communities" and has become just normal and accepted for unironic visitation data-center wide and consumes like 1/2 of the Party Fiunder as just venue advertisements. (Edit: Slight return to normalcy for the first month or so of a savage release, but then it's back to mostly venues)
Apologies from the normies of Crystal DC. I enjoy RP communities in MMOs traditionally but the reputation Balmung has is totally earned. It's embarrassing and it hurts the other servers on the data center because people flooded it to get on Balmung via server visiting so every other server on Crystal feels like a ghost town in comparison and Balmung is extremely crowded. It's cliché to say but just know it's Not All Like That and you're seeing the worst and loudest of the server when you see the degenerate shit.
