Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

So, I've been told that there's been a misunderstanding about how Y'shtola's eye magic works. It's not actively killing her, it's fueled by her aether and she'll be fine if she eats and rests up. I guess it's similar to how G'raha gets tired after using an advanced spell. That makes a little more sense now.

The only reward I really want is the skink minion. Yes, I'm that shallow when it comes to rewards, but the little bugger looks so cute.

My understanding of that bullshit with her is that the 'dying' aspect was the risk of her hopping into the aether and doing whatever bullshit she does. That's how she ended up blind in the first place, and if she continued to be that reckless, she'd end up fucking around and finding out.

Although, as we discover in Shadowbringers, even that doesn't really fucking matter.

From what I've seen, even those raiders aren't actually happy with the current gearing system either. I've seen complaints of how in party finder it sucks how you potentially have to do it for 16 weeks if you're unlucky with rolls and then you still won't have the mount if you get bad rolls. Meanwhile if you have a static all the gear will be funneled to the DPS players first and as a result people are still going to be dragged in longer even after they're BiS to allow the lower priority members to catch up.

I'm equally as shallow and I want that skink, I am a huge sucker for cute reptiles.

Speaking of raids, I'm going to be backtracking to unlock raids since I blazed through the MSQ to catch up with my friends. I also have zero confidence in my ability to play well in raids despite knowing my rotations well. Any advice for a ranged physical DPS with very little raid experience appreciated.

Normal or savage? For normal they're just a little harder than the average trial so if you finished the MSQ you know exactly what you need to do. They're designed that even the most normie of players can pass them with little issue. (Especially true for past xpac raids since you'll be starting at max ilevel, which makes it even easier).

Savage is an entirely different ballgame. There's plenty to write about but getting a good group will be your priority.

So today in the subreddit, raid trannies spot a target to groom and fuck up so hard he deletes his post and other raid trannies have to inform the rest that it was not cool.

Who wants to see some mod drama? I got some mod drama

So a modder that goes by Nyaughty has decided to make a mod that turns one of your little minions into a whole platform with nooses on it

So Nyaughty responds after that picture was changed to just the nooses themselves (Bottom first, Archive 1 and Archive 2)

And that's about it for now until he wakes up and says something to stir shit up again, but as pointed out in the first thread he has a patreon which seems to have never exceeded $4000 but mysteriously the amount of people paying went up, the amount they give went down

Despite the majority of people's outrage being due to the skin tone of the characters used, it's probably also worth mentioning that they used what they used specifically because it was the character for another modder, whom the offending modders have some beef with or something.

And the modder they specifically targeted made a post addressing them.

Funnily enough, Bizu doesn't even make it about their own character's race. They're focusing specifically on the fact that it was a clear "fuck you" to themselves as another modder.
Apparently, the Au'ra featured in the dumpster screenshot is also modeled after yet another modder's character, someone named "Prayer" according to some of the replies.

This Nyaughty person is apparently the same one who made the Nazi Garlean armband mod that created a stir a while back as well, according to the rumor mill.

And one last note is that the person that runs the mod archive is buddy buddy with Nyaughty, meaning their shit isn't gonna be taken down from the archive so I'm expecting people to fuck with their Patreon and try to get that shut down

I have a bunch of gil that I'm not spending on anything and no strong ties to my current world so I ended up transferring to the new dynamis datacenter and I'm gonna buy a house there. I know that buying a house will prevent me from taking extended breaks from the game but I feel like decorating it will be a nice little project.

Good luck getting a house, I'm fighting with 100+ people to win a lottery to win some medium plot and it annoys me even more that after TEH COVIDZ and them reactivating demolition that there was a medium plot available in my neighborhood and I was 2 million gil short and couldn't buy it.

Anyone have suggestions for a tank job to play at 90? Was considering either Dark Knight or Warrior.
