I'm very, very curious to see if the West zone has a mention of Gummigeschosse. Actually, that's made me curious enough to just go look it up.

The quest is "Law of the Land," ~ "Der Weg der Wildnis" which is already a bit different.
Rubber bullets are mentioned in the cutscene, and... well, well. "Ich weiß, die Munition ist nicht scharf, aber... " ~ "I know the ammunition isn't live, but"

I guess it wasn't a localization thing. That little line of dialogue falls flatly on Hiroi's team, then.

Only if you want to do the equivalent of cutting your own leg off to complain about it afterwards; it's about as painful to get through.

Then again, you can just skip cutscene, be wary there's easily 150% more skipping than even EW because they figured having meaningless dialogue with an NPC now being a cutscene was a good idea.

What’s ironic is that it’s mostly coming from people who despise Graha and are just as deranged and unstable as the fans who want to fuck him. It feels like you can’t have any normal conversations about the characters in this game in the general fanbase without someone melting down whether it’s a hater or a simp.

Anyways I’m going through EW and it‘s much better than I thought it would be. I pretty much know the entire base EW msq at this point and even the stuff I’ve been spoilered on is fine. I know the post patch stuff is pretty bad. Also got a huge laugh out of researching the rabbithole of Venat haters/Zodiark trancers and seeing them seethe over the plot. Wonder if any are still seething today.

This right here. Like, playing as a basic human or elf mage is fun, but playing as a cool monster race can be great, too. Problem is, any of the more unique races, not just in FFXIV, all get ruined by freaks; gets to the point where there's such a stigma surrounding the races, that even normal people who want nothing to do with the freakshit get lumped in if they don't play a basic human. It's... frustrating.

It's part of the reason why I stopped playing; feels like there's been a sharp uptick of degenerates in the game after Endwalker's post-MSQ dropped, and it's gotten to the point where I just don't want to associate with the fanbase anymore.

I don't get why these people are even here. Why are they not in second life or some fucking shit like it. This is a game about high fantasy and fighting interdimensional shadow people who summon the world's gods for you to kill. What about this setting screams "yes I should porn here" to these degenerates.

It's lack of a social life and people using the game as a substitute for it because they lack other outlets.

Which, I mean, okay, that's fine to an extent -- socializing with the bros can be part of it. But trying to have the game fulfill everything isn't fucking healthy and it shouldn't be surprising these brokebrain retards fall into this rabbit hole.

Just cleared Gauntlet of Heroes, we've been in queue for Seat of Sacrifice for over 40 minutes now. I've never had this happen before with our healer/tank combo. :(

Really wanted to see if we could push on and at least reach the next set of credits tonight but it's getting late and we both have shit to do tomorrow.

I feel kind of bad for Elidibus but he's still not as likable as Emet-Selch so I'm eager to stomp his face in and keep going.

You could probably fill it in Party Finder if you put in first time and attract people for the first time bonus.

SoS is a weird one that isn't done a lot cos there's no real tangible rewards.

Wanna know something bullshit?

You don't get your blood lily or your AOE lily heal till after level 70. Which means healing UWU/UCOB on WHM just feels wrong cause you're missing key class components and need to spam cure 3.
