Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

I didnt watch enough of Pyro to see his actual takes on the lore but i do remember how he faggily took down all his WoW merch on stream and replaced it with FFXIV shit in return, didnt he end up having a meltie at the community more than a couple times?

XIV has no good content creators. Pyromancer was at least entertaining in his sperging, but his shtick of trying to be the lore guy doesn't work with Japanese writers who double and triple down on exposition to make the player understand what is happening. "Content" is hard because FFXIV is a drastically more accessible game than WoW. It's pretty trivial to "keep current" and very little gated content means there isn't all that much to watch when you can just do it yourself. Content dries up pretty quick and most XIV creators are "let's just talk about boring shit while I roulette through the same content again" which gets real old real fast.

WoW having a higher barrier to entry for some content means more people will just watch it instead of playing it. Which isn't great for the game but is great for Twitch viewership. WoW has different versions and "real" PVP on top of it.

Wait he also had a crash out over the chair? I remember he had a crash out over a sabotender npc but never heard the chair meltdown. Are there clips of all his melties?

Speaking of lorefags Cleretic’s been dickriding DT so hard I’m convinced SE is paying the fucker to give it praise and good publicity.

Why would he sperg out over a sabotender npc? What madness lies within his heart? Does he have a thread? Also what is the lala chair? I was never much interested in his antics, but this recent talk reminded me how deranged he can be.

I don't know about the sabotender, but the drama with the lala chair is that it very closely resembles a high chair for babies and I think it's description kind of alludes to that in order to play into the meme that Lalas are often mistaken or referred to as toddlers.
So some Lalafel players had a public chimp out because they didn't like that the devs were leaning into the "lol lalas are kids" meme and insisted that they are grown adults because the lore said so and that means no one is allowed to patronize them. Meanwhile the devs weren't being serious, they were just having a laugh. For fuck's sake, Yoshi P himself plays a Lala. The point is some Lalas dunno how to take a joke even though their entire existence is a meme itself.

Lala players get so defensive about it that it makes one wonder. I remember last time my sub was on, I was on the FF14 mod website looking for one of papapachin's animation mods or gear mods when I saw some degeneracy. I saw some kind of lala body replacer mod whose description was something like "Everything in here has been determined to be legal, so stop complaining about it."

Absolutely disgusting.

There is this one faggot who does Lalafell porn on twitter who had a meltie about it. Something along the lines of "Lalafell players already get persecuted enough". I value you inner peace too much to look for it now since this guys timeline was full of art of his potato being lewd.
Lalafel being playable is a fucking mistake and keeps the WoL from ever doing anything cool in cutscenes. No, awkwardly shaking Zero's hand doesn't count you degenerate spud fuckers.

They play lala BECAUSE they know they look like children and try to convince people that they have plausible deniability by saying "they're adults in the lore, bro"
Because any normal person would just coom over literally any of the other races in the game. But no, they HAD to pick lalafel.
And like...look, I get it. They are a fantasy race akin to like dwarves or something and yeah, technically they are adults. It's still really uncomfortable seeing them be lewded. It's like a person with some weird midget fetish. Imagine you saw a girl who looked like she was 8 years old dressed up like some common whore. Then she whips out an ID that shows she's actually 40 years old. Great, she's an adult. Still really fucking weirdge.

Lalas were never meant to be taken seriously. They look ridiculous and are given animations that make them seem more childish and humorous. In all the action scenes in the game, they stand out as being absolutely absurd and their entire existence is on the basis that only people who want to meme through everything play a lalafel and 99% of lalafel players don't take anything seriously. They picked lalafel because it's the "haha meme" race. So seeing people try so hard to sexualize them is pretty creepy and honestly a massive yikes.

I'm not current on WoW, but I meant more the "before you high end raid/pvp/whatever - you need to grind out this gear/consumables/reputation/buffs" that seem to penetrate the game even still. Classic is probably rife with it. As opposed to any difficulty of the encounter itself.

Some of the mods you'll get for Lalas make them look like someone trying to nail a pair of oranges to a beanie baby. Elin females (as the men IIRC were literal fucking beavers) were just sexualized right out of the gate. Thus it should shock no one to find out there's I believe a mod that just straight up ports over Elin walking animations. It looks extremely shitty and ill fitting.

Conceptually I have no issue with Lalafel. They're not sexualized, they're routinely shown to be comically evil or just downright goofy, and they have funny animations that are often used to great comedic effect. We went through the same with with Tarutaru and their features are even less human than a Lalafel's are. It's an unfortunate fact of media that if you have a child-sized/proportioned character, there's a horde of degenerates that are just itching to beat their dicks to them. Thankfully they also love to out themselves as well, and it's never a bad time watching a pedophile get ranked over the coals.

It still amazes me that in a game that has Hrothgar as a playable race the Lalafell players still manage to be the biggest and most consistent collective of degenerates. FFXIV furries need to step up their game.
