Dramacow FineBros - Copyrighting React Videos Controversy, the Ongoing Shitstorm, Sadly Increasing Subs

As spectacular as falling subs are, there does not seem to be any monetary connection according to SocialBlade. For youtubers to really hurt them (and get their message across) they would need to stop watching the videos, and that section does not appear to significantly change.
Views and subscribers are kinda like peanuts to them, the real shit will be the sponsors. And in fact, the people are contacting TheFineBros' sponsors for them to go into deep shit.

EDIT: Proof too:

This guy, formerly known as The Internet Aristocrat, shares his thoughts:

I'm pretty sure that he's been associated with GG.

Yes but they need their loyal 12 year old fans to subscribe and watch every video so they can earn the most shekels possible

It'll never happen in our lifetime, but the biggest kick to their nuts would be if their shitty videos stopped showing up in the Recommended Links bar. I bet the majority of their hits come from that.

I hope the Fine Brothers get raped and murdered in prison.

Probably for molesting the kids in their videos, the pedos.
I have never seen that many ratings for a single post here. Wow, that needs an award or something. Null, call it "OverRated"
Seems like they're going into damage control:

"We're not trying to own reactions!"
Liars! You sent your massive legion of fanboys to take down Ellen Degeneres's video of kids reacting to technology.
I've been seeing this shit all over Twitter recently. They've pissed a ton of people off with this video and it's got other Youtubers like Boogie talking about them. I don't even watch their shit but this controversy caught my eye enough.

This is the kind of reception they got for this video. Tl;dr, they think that making React to That videos impacts the world and they're coming up with this shit called React World. They want to license their videos too from what I'm understanding.

Lastly, this video from Boogie about this topic. 15 minutes long and I didn't watch the whole thing but I still wanted to throw it in there anyway.

This is virtual cancer trying to spread itself on the weak, then eating and killing itself....

It would be cool if there was any way for this thread to have its own counter like with how ADF's subforum is set up. I don't know if that's possible but it would be nice to have somewhere.

I'd be willing to substitute the Random.TXT (controversial) or have it float at the bottom-right like Dobson.

I think that's the worst thing about these guys. They really think with these react videos they've done this amazing service to the internet so much that when somebody does something similar it's a 'sad day for the Internet.' It all makes it so blatantly obvious they're nasty guys with huge egos and I'm starting to be surprised they didn't get found out sooner
They tried to make a tv show out of this, and it's been a little over a year since there's been any word on further seasons so safe to say that's dead. I guess since they couldn't get a monopoly on it one way...

I think the reason they are there is the same reason they consider their format licensable: it's formulaic and easily mass-produced. Youtube promotes that kind of thing because if they can get you to like it, they can count on there being an infinite stream of it that you'll keep watching. It seems to work on the Internet just as well as it did with television.
