Has Chris ever commented on how PSN on the PS4 is closer to HEXbox live? It might explain why he hasn't gotten the new life upgrade.
 
The many reasons why Chris doesn't own a PS4:

Chris is a lifelong Nintendo fanboy
Her favorite PS3 games were the ones attempting to imitate Nintendo franchises
The PS4 doesn't seem to be ripping off Nintendo enough for Chris' liking
PS3 was a blu ray player too, PS4 has no secondary purpose or gimmick
The PS4 is expensive and offers little more than the PS3 did
The Wii U has lots of games that are relevant to Chris and her interests
Humping a PS3 and being tricked into destroying it does not create brand loyalty
Home was dumb
 
I don't know how to track him in GameCenter, but Chris is still playing that iPhone Simpsons tapping game. And however much money he's saving on free games elsewhere, he's blowing it all in this one. He continues to gets every item sold for real money that's offered each update, like $15-20, every month easy.

I play it but I know it sucks balls pretty much. As a stoner I'm easily amused so for me it's still worth it but goddamn. When I started playing on the iPad I couldn't look back, I can't imagine playing it again on the (relatively tiny for today's standards) iPhone screen. Chris is gonna end up blind in a few more years.

I think Sony is also going to have to sweeten the pot since Chris has begun to actively hoarde cheap plastic toys of video game characters from games he doesn't even play. Once Sony makes their own usual tacky Nintendo-retread and starts making Amiibos of Sackboy and Kratos and Not-Indiana-Jones, and Not-Ellen-Page, and Press-X-to-Jason, then Chris will be all over that shit.
 
How to make Chris buy a PS4.

Step 1: send him a single PS4 game that kind of appeals to his interests.
Step 2: there is no step 2. He'll justify spending $500 or whatever a PS4 costs these days to play a $30 game.

Sega had an exclusivity deal with Nintendo for their 3 next Sonic games. It ended after they released Sanic Boom for the Wii U and 3DS (they're counted as different games), and now Sega is no longer obligated to develop a new Sonic for Nintendo systems. In fact, one of the big reasons why Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was such a trainwreck was because the developper (Big Red Button) used the Cry Engine 3 to create their game, but the Wii U didn't have the specs to work properly with it. And since Sega wanted Rise of Lyric to be Wii U exclusive, they struggled with the engine to make a barely working game.
 
i would like to think that somewhere, deep in Chris' tism strangled mind, that whatever little bit of survival instinct that isn't being supressed by the crayon Chris shoved up his nose is working overtime to keep Chris afraid of steam, for it knows that if the tism ever experienced a steam sale, the body would never have money for food ever again.

Tbh, chris could go without a few daily mcdonald's/burger king meals here and there!
 
I looked at that list of PSN games and, every time I saw the tiniest flicker of hope in his list of played titles, he hasn't earned any trophies in the game. It's a constant throughout the whole list. I'm still trying to find a legit 'good' game that he's actually done something with, like complete a tutorial.

Debt has no bearing on his game purchases, especially on iPhone where Chris apparently has just about every premium item on the Simpsons mobile game.

That's probably where his money has gone lately. We don't have any way to track his iPhone game purchases so we aren't aware of it.

Am I the only one who would pay to watch Chris riot in Baltimore?
What would be needed t convince him it is about blarms?
