At this point they should leave director ON on autopilot, I just leave the site up in the background as I work, and every few hours when I hear activity I jump over and take a look. Been a consistent 5k+ today

I dunno... Like yes Burt deserves it for the value he brought to the tank 100%. Season 3 and his week on season 5, for getting beaten, for just being a content machine, it made the show so much more enjoyable.

But I don't think his behavior when the twins were getting choked was an act and that really was horrible. I do find him to be unbelievable and unbelievably funny, it's just his face in that moment really turned my stomach. So fuck him. Pay him or not, he'll come back to work the goo room in season 6.

  • Jet and Ben doing stupid ass bits with the cast members (dragons, aliens, weird talent show mog complete, tiktok dances, little maejok spirit, superfriendbed, date, filming a movie) this is essential to the shows quirky nature
  • A cast that goes well together in terms of all being different enough from one another. It's beneficial for me as an audience member to be able to switch to whatever "show" I want to watch when there's nothing scheduled.
  • Vibe repair days NOT ON A FUCKING SATURDAY. Also they DO need to sleep sometimes.
  • Letting them box Mints. Please God let them fight Mints.

Now that I think about it, why not just use the missions as a sort of a day rate? Every day they get a mission with say $150 payout(or it starts lower and gets up as the time goes?). Even if we assume 10 people with an elimination every 4ish days, even if every fish clears every mission they will have to pay out like 30k which is not a big deal.
And I'm sure that people would be more willing to do stuff for 150 bucks than they are for some gay fish dollars that will buy them 2 redbulls

Think they planned Burt getting the 50k, and Twins getting 20k, to cement the new era of Fishtank. Ben and Jet obviously want to change the direction of the show; it can be dark, silly and stupid, but ultimately they will value you if you give into the show. Burt gave a lot to the show, metaphorically spitting in his face and leaving him in the desert isn't a precedent they want to repeat. Makes sense from multiple angles; encourages more content providing personalities to apply; keeps fans happy; grounds and legitimises the show, reminding production that this isn't just frivolity. Sam Hyde is a great host for Fishtank, but seemingly doesn't care about longevity. Ben and Jet are stating they're in it for the long haul with these decisions.
 
Decided to put it on because I'm addicted and wanted to see what was going on in the house before bed.

Really cool to see Wes taking the time to genuinely try to teach Landon. Obviously there is only so much to teach someone with 0 experience but he's doing a better job than James who kind of treated Landon like a child trying to learn as a joke. Don't get me wrong, James did teach him the basics in a bare minimum way but Wes is genuinely taking the time to help him get the feel

Regarding Burt, that certainly isn't a bit. I believe the wiggers really wanted to do right by Burt considering everything. He'll get the 50k.

also more jetbot/nifty type stuff, some of the funniest bits in the show was production clearly high off their asses messing with the fish at 4 AM in the morning
 
Bongo (or Baldgo) has stated James Drake deserved the W and that the shot of him choking them out was " what's the word? kino?" because of how sad he looked doing it.
No sad sore loser here. Good vibes only.
 
I swear to God if Jet said "All contestants get a chance to box Mints." I would apply for the next season right fucking now.

- "People still watching aren't doing it because they have to, they're doing it because they want to." Got me there, generally intrigued to see how they take the show.
- Talking about post-season content.
- Talking about Alex Stein shooting an AK through a trailer and bringing on the weird troon Drake, Bash, and Landon tossed.
- Rest of the wiggers are at a bar. "While you drank, I studied the blade. While you partied, I read the Art of War."
- Told the remaining fish to be quiet outside, neighbors are close.
- Likes the off-season nature of today / right now, there's way less pressure.
- The team wants to do some whacky ideas.

- Burt is likely leaving later. Jet says he has honed his entertainment skills.
- "We used to just try to make ourselves laugh than the audience."

Three ideas:

1. Mansion casting party, tons of people, whittle them down
Not buying flights, just let people buy their own travel, RSVP though
Jet says everyone was calling it "Onlyfans Egirl Diddy part!"

2. Survival type content. Hunting, outdoors, getting away from screens.

3. Chud to Chad

4, Shorter events, like 5 days

- Making fun of people being annoyed by Kimmee.
- She suggested "Week on, week off." So the week off they can plan, and week on they could execute.

- They aren't gatekeeping the strategy for the fishtank format.
- "It's so difficult to do, it's probably a bad idea to try and do it."
- They don't know if people like the new cameras, or prefer just the surveillance mode. (I think they should split it, two directors: Fishtank Classic, and Goo Mode.)
