I don't think Letty's a plant, but I do think she's happy to work with the producers on bits like the fake ending. She has a decent amount of guaranteed money with Fishbucks (same with Josie, Vance only has a few) so it probably helps with staying in the Tank. Josie's harder to convince to do stuff and Vance would immediately fumble the bit within 30 seconds so she's probably the best to ask.

I do wonder what the actual ending will look like - we basically saw the "normal ending" so maybe the real one will be chaotic with nobody believing that it's real. Or they could have absolutely nothing planned as usual!

The portapotty incident was that Damiel couldn't find his shoes because Lance threw them in the basement along with a bunch of other people's shit. He chimped out and blamed Letty, threatened to assault her, then took a bunch of her stuff (clothes, makeup, a necklace, etc) and threw it in the portapotty they had been using for the entire camping challenge. When she found out, she ended up digging it out and picking her things out of the shit covered pile.

The portapotty can be summarized as follows. The fish had to participate in a camping competition, which means no showers and no real bathrooms, they are given a portapotty as an alternative to the bathrooms. Lance and Simon are told by the producers to fuck with the fish more. Lance goes and steals Damiel's shoes and throws them into the basement. Damiel sees that his shoes are missing and immediately blames Letty. Letty denies her ever stealing the shoes, and at this point Damiel wouldn't even know if they were stolen or not, but he has a complete spergout and throws her personal belongings into the portapotty.

All the fish are taken into a room, and Damiel absolutely digs into Letty and goes off on her. He says if she wasn't a man he would strangle her, and says that in order for her to act like that her boyfriend must be abusing her. The other fish, instead of stepping in, all seemed to take Damiel's side or at least be neutral. It is revealed to Damiel that Letty was not the one who stole his shoes, but Lance. Upon hearing this, either being questioned by somebody or just thinking out loud, he says he won't confront Vance because he doesn't want his ass to get beaten, showing that he's only willing to pick on people weaker than him.

Even after all of this the fish still seemingly try to make excuses for Damiel. TTS starts calling Josie a bully, which got to her a bit. I believe Letty went and cried at some point during the night. Damiel was called down into the basement for a brief period of time. He came back up, told everybody he had to leave due to his baby, apologized to Letty by giving her a fishbuck, and left. This was most likely done as a way to save face in the moment due to Damiel threatening Letty.

Overall, it was a major turning point in how people view the other fish and Letty, and it is one of the key moments in the show where Letty is forced to deal with something really fucked up, but only came out stronger as a result.
