With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Josie streamed Friday at her usual time from Jet's apartment. You can hear a couple of wiggers in the background but no Jet feature, fortunately.

She knows a lot of her fans have been upset at the sudden absence, many have been vocal and huffing copium about her going on Fishtank but it sounds like she's having a good time.

Not an entertaining stream but good for her to check in with the fans and also earned her a lot of money for a couple of hours work. Ironically, the stream would be better if she stopped fretting over entertaining people the entire time and it also would have ended sooner, allowing her to get back to the basement.
Josie seems to enjoy working on Fishtank so far but doesn't like going upstairs all too often. She shared some info but nothing significant.

  • Confirmed that saying "See ya soon" was deliberate foreshadowing on her final pre-Fishtank stream. She normally ends streams with "See ya never!"
  • Says Fishtank is a lot of fun and she's making great memories
  • Struggles to come up with anything to do but insists just talking to chat isn't good enough
    • Solves this problem by ignoring everyone and playing Tetris for 6 minutes straight until deliberately losing

I wonder how much the viewership of this season has increased over S1.
I know production has increased quite a bit but still feels very DIY which is nice in its own way.

I feel like it's consistently higher but also the counter last season was very messed up early on so it's difficult to say.
 
Earlier today, Ben told Jimmy privately that he's supposed to look for "dolls" that walk around between midnight and "the witching hour," and sometimes until 4:30 AM. The dolls make "clicking noises" when they walk and he needs to collect eleven of them. It's evident that the clicking noises are just the house settling and cooling down, but Jimmy spent some time asking Tay about them without explaining what he was looking for, making him seem even more schizophrenic.

Speaking of Tay, she's refusing to go downstairs to play card games with the other fish and holing herself up in the bunk crocheting instead, talking to camera and reacting to every TTS that comes her way. It seems pretty clear to me that she's trying to work up a fanbase of parasocial simps. It's not exactly working because TTS is way more expensive now and most world-be simps have already latched onto Josie.

Tay is kinda shit so far, she has no real character development
Even Trish has had some but she is still by far the shittest character.

Cole just said to the kitchen cam that he made 250K on crypto. In his own words, "I don't have to be here. I'm fucking loaded".

Adds up when you consider JC saying something along the lines of she would rather Brian wins for reasons Cole will eventually reveal. If that's not just drunk bullshitting then this guy really is Forrest Gump. Fucking around with women who don't give a shit about him and fumbling into a fortune would be a pretty comical parallel.

I swear Brian has spent this entire Christmas Eve party pushing people to hate Cole. Now he's telling people that Cole, a 22 year old, is a scumbag for crushing on JC, an 18 year old.
