There's not wanting it to be scripted, then there's putting zero effort at all into what the people there should do to 'survive the fish tank'.

On the night of Day 11 they were messing with Nifty as she tried to rest in B2, the crew had a brief pizza party. They were mostly talking nonsense but Sam asked Josie about streaming, it seems like they haven't talked about it much off camera.

She shares that streaming has been great and when Sam asks about the My Little Pony statue she got, she says it was the best birthday gift ever.
Ben remarks, "We haven't really had time to talk." Sam adds, "It's fucked up down there." I doubt it's true they haven't had time to talk but I can believe they haven't asked about it.
Sam falls down the stairs and Ben puts a pizza on the floor as they return to the basement.

Season 2 is going so well they are ripping off a challenge from the cell 2 where they had completely run out of ideas and were just coming up with things on the spot.

They have no remaining narrative at the moment and the fish are unlikable. The reason it feels empty and boring is because we had a narrative before to keep us occupied between challenges. With no overarching plot there’s simply nothing to occupy the empty hours. Since a narrative is lacking there’s only challenges to look forward to and they haven’t been that great imo.

As people have pointed out Jimmy has been the driver of content, but when the show started his retardation was more of a gimmick rather than something that can carry the entire show to the end. Jimmy rambling is something you were able to switch to, laugh for ten minutes max, then move on to some scheming or drama or whatever interesting was happening at the time.

Having no narrative is fine, but that means challenges need to be produced at a far faster rate and that requires planning, which as we can see the wiggers didn’t do. Trish getting her haircut was funny but kind of ruined by Sam letting her get revenge. The ooga booga stuff was funny but felt like it went on too long and the black guy didn’t even react. Speaking of, some people are saying he’s an actor and is present on Alex Stein’s show. Hopefully he’ll fuck some stuff up then. Any “romance” or shipping is forced by staff for chips or money meaning it lacks any kind of genuine connection. Anytime the fish are told to do something to one another by the crew they immediately tell the other fish that the crew told them to do the task.

Still holding out on things picking up. Hopefully Sam can plan something out and the ball can get rolling again.

I don't think it was quite like this, was it? I don't remember all of the fish being forced to smoke like this aside from that Cell 2: II challenge. I don't mind rehashing some challenges anyway, just be entertaining about it.

For the next season they should get a larger house or maybe even a large warehouse so they can have the fish do some weird activities that dont involve smoking or trying to rape each other. Plus they need to choose and stick with a theme for the season or something and actually vet contestants. I think jet got really lucky with the first season and thought he could coast and just let it play out

I think season 3's(If there is one) theme should be race war, they should have a wide variety of contestants asian, black guy, indian, eastern european, muslim, russian, mexican, whitey, african, islander.

A swimming pool would be a great way to encourage socializing and allow for games of water polo or races. It would also be cool to see The Reef have a tiki bar theme. Perhaps Goldstriker could be Island King.

You need obtainable goals to works towards to guide a narrative. A reality show MacGuffin to obtain. Elimination hasn't been an issue. I'd say a psychological based challenge with a cash prize would serve them better currently. One with clearly defined perimeters and an incentive to deceive.
