Greg is fucking hilarious due to how always out of place and odd he looks. Him stumbling around with a pogo stick while having that goofy slightly awkward fucking expression on his face & that oddly fitting outfit is just incredible. Also, "friggin' forcefield" spell perfectly suits the entire package of him so fucking well.
Xavier is in the village and tells Letty that if she wants to pursue explosion magic she needs to convert to Islam to unlock the explosion skill tree. Xavier creates a test for Letty’s feminine wisdom, and requires anime girl pictures to test her. Sadly Jon sold Xavier’s anime pictures when holding on to them. Jon calls Xavier a gooner and they are stuck in a stalemate. Eventually the trader gives Xavier his pictures.
Letty is tasked to choose between four anime girls to decide which one is "objectively best" according to Xavier. Xavier breaks down each anime girl. One of the girls turns into a wolf apparently and Letty rules her out due to bestiality. She rules out the weird child witch looking one as that would make Xavier a pedo. Xavier has to explain the difference between kuudere and tsundere. Letty chooses the maid girl as she's quiet and submissive and she knows Xavier wants a submissive woman. This was the correct choice
The next part of the test consists of characters from the gacha game Arknight. Xavier says he's willing to give hints but not for free. Letty offers welches fruit snacks and Xavier accepts. TTS comes on referencing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Xavier has to tell the audience he's not Japanese but Asian. Xavier run's through each character explaining their background and personalities. Letty chooses wisely and wins the test of wisdom, meaning she will be taught more magic.
In order for Xavier to release the spells to Letty she needs to be taught "the tongue of the east" by Xavier. He needs to explain some common Japanese language misconceptions and teaches her the difference between formal and informal greetings as he has been to Japan many times.
Also Xay: "Greg lent me the power of his glasses for a brief moment and I saw the most treacherous monsters that man could see" as the cameraman immediately starts following Brian and Jimmy passing by. Absolute kino camerawork.
Greg immediately began showing interest in Tays new pup form, to her dismay. He told her that she has to bark when in that form. TTS accuses him of having a boner.
Again, everyone harassing Tay is hilarious, every photo just looks like she's one of Ariel Castro's wives. every time they focus on her she doesn't seem to enjoy it.
To clarify a bit more on Jon getting in twouble with Ben. Apparently he offered Sodaman 100 dollars through venmo for vodka. Jon also asked regarding the bracelet throwing "what if they howt" and Ben just ignored him.
The trapper kidnapped SodaMan and accused him of being a vampire, after a lot of haggling with tai, he settled on releasing him for 2 gold, jimmy left to go get some gold while tai stays behind
Unless im tripping im sure ive seen dumbgay post (can’t remember if it was on twitter or his IG story) about smoking weed in the “retreat” (the little house npcs vanish into). If theres weed in circulation fatty & trish have definitely had a smoke lol

During this whole bit where Xavier tells Tay Xay that being in pup form (wearing a furry hairband and tail) gives her one extra life band for combat, she kept making faces and giving the camera a thumbs up. At some point Xavier actually said something to the effect of "I know you're expressive, but do use your words, we need words here," essentially directing her to be more vocal for the final edit.
And I couldn't help but wonder what this would be like if Josie had come and Xavier's plot line centered around her instead. Josie would just smile coyly and go "damn..." as Xavier ran laps around her. The whole plot would then be geared towards how her rabid fans would react to it, instead of an entertaining narrative.
