Sam and Jet just lectured the fish for like 10 minutes about how they need to stop chumming it up with each other and being friendly with the staff. That they need to start acting more 'fierce' and like they're on a reality show, and stop worrying about doing mean things to each other to make content. Dunno if it was a gaslight or a typical production overcorrection after the negative reaction to last night's cryfest, but I genuinely dislike when Sam just comes in and says "you guys need to make content" rather than production creating situations that would naturally create it on its own. Break up the cliques, separate them into preset teams, etc. Make them work with their enemies and against their friends. Don't just come in and say "stop being boring".

In this case it seemed to be much better because the fish were refusing to create political smear campaign ads for the house election and crying over it not wanting to hurt each others feelings. At a certain point they have to be reminded that this is for TV and they should not take things so personally as its entertainment for people. (They spent the past 2 days crying nobody wants to watch that shit)

This wasn't at all like the season 2 talks where they said you guys are boring do something be entertaining, it was more like go along with the show don't worry about hurting feelings because you can be friends after.
