Say what you will about Sam Hyde but you can't say he has a "lack of success in life". Sam probably has tens of millions of dollars at this point. Elon Musk has watched his Dear Elon video. He's successful— everything else Burt said is probably true though.

Sam is rich and has a dedicated fanbase, but he could have done more. If only he was easier to work with and didn't have such a shit taste in women. But I have to commend him for playing his hand well after being canceled from Adult Swim. The viewer numbers for World Peace were fucking impressive and so was his comeback after the iDubbz doc. If only he focused more on comedy instead of the stupid e-daddy grift.

I'm in the same boat about Sam. I actually like him and his work, but his orbiters have become an albatross except for Nick and Chris. The fishtank guys absolutely fucked up, Jet is a habitual failure that knows how to cling to the first passing liferaft.

Sam would probably be doing a lot better if he'd just tell his supporting acts to go their separate ways and just take Nick to do podcasts with Stavy and Shane.

Sam is the attraction, the others have just been a sideshow with heavily diminishing returns and a litany of liabilities.
