  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

You forgot about Ronnie, they should bring him back and have him flex on the Craigslist tweakers again. But I was obvusly talking about the bitches themselves .

I wanted them to do a bitchtank in the middle of a regular season. I would think it would be funny to kick the fish out of the main bedroom and make them serve a bunch of catty bitches, then at somepoint flip the script and have the bitchtank devolve into chaos as the fish get their revenge. Could even lean into the gay show angle with a male only cast.

I... actually am on board.

I don't think they'll pull it off, but the host being as much of a sperg and fucked with in the same way as the contestants could be a lot of fun. Especially in a gaslight heavy Famous House set up. Feldman is obviously too well known to push really hard, a local comedian looking to jump into media hosting would be the perfect target for abuse.

They also need to plan for the idea to burn out at any second and they'll hinge their plot on it lasting much longer than that.

But, in a nitrous, casting couch, and entitled apathy free world it's an interesting idea.

I think Jan would be a great host, but they either need to theme it to Xavier(RIP BG2) or he needs a new character. Xavier was fun as a weird interlude, but I think the schtick long term in a Big Brother theme would wear out quickly.

Unironically this is what I love about Fishtank and what’s come out of it. The pathos is insane

There are so many little moments of sincere pain and vulnerability that you won’t catch in traditional media. It’s funny to laugh at other autists, but this is what keeps me around. So many little moments that strike at the heart of the digital hellscape we live in.

It is a shame Jet is so half-assed. I genuinely think Fishtank is something special regardless if the slurs, humiliation rituals, and casting couch are the flashy bits. The potential is insane
