Imagine what could've been had he not slipped up and mentioned TTS during Famous House. It would've been wild if he kept his cover as a Fishtank fan until after the reveal.
It would have been cringe as fuck and sucked because Ted fucking sucks. It's unreal that someone as raped as him was a fan.
His cover wasn't real though - in his initial confessional when Ben asked what he thought of the house, Ted said something like "You mean just from today, or..." and Ben said "Just today, yeah just today". Ted was a plant and his cover was blown on day 1. Later, he would go on to sing Josie's Queso song and I believe there were other tells as well. The TTS slip up was a real nothing-burger except for his reaction to it. He could have easily played it off .

His "elimination" was perfect in the context of Famous House but they also could've waited till the FT reveal to announce that he was a plant or something. Probably wouldn't have been as entertaining though.
the funny part is this is exactly what people thought S2 was gonna be before it started, due to the cold war aesthetic of the site
