Landon has a support system in both Bashir and Drake. They both love him.
I watched the aftermath of the challenge and Bashir’s interactions with Landon felt more about seeming magnanimous and garnering favor with the tard that let down his chad Big Brother than anything else. Nevermind the fact he made sure everyone knew he paid out the twins and Blane more than he did himself.

It’s all an act, maybe not an act for the final 50k, but an act nonetheless.

No wonder there's so many candy deliveries tonight, it's dirt cheap (by Fishtank standards).

The profit is still insane, these are candies from those giant bulk packs that probably cost like 5 cents apiece.

Nah they are definitely as insincere as each other, only difference is you've only seen a tiny snap shot of Bashir while probably knowing a decade+ of Sam history to make it way more obvious.
His parents are the same religious sect, he knows Arabic, he does the prayers, and he says prayers under his breath?? How much more sincere can he get? Does he need to walk because alcohol is in his presence or something to be considered genuine? I swear the anti-muslim sentiment is just political sperging that has no real basis in anything.

Edit: I disagree with Islam on a religious and historical basis, but I swear that all the critiques of Bashir's religion would be the same if he was an actually genuine hardcore Protestant or something. It's just Seth Mcfarlane-esque atheist-sperging.

It's the same WAAAAAAAAH BASHIR MUSLIM BAD SELF RIGHTEOUS thing mints does in tts but here, most of those posts are like that.
They are incapable to see that Drake is just another (less exotic) flavor of Bashir, it's literally the same archetype of fake person that they despise.
They brought James Drake's girlfriend on in the hope that something shitty would happen, they tried fucking with him too.

Curious whether this is the most profitable tank ever, they planned pretty well on margins and have been tight on prizing. Think they're over $1m gross now.

John did the same, he was just retarded and bad at it. This is not new, he just has a shit religion. Which is true. But you are weak willed if you are swayed by the ginger on the pee pee poo poo show.
Jon was certifiably retarded and no one took him seriously, Christian or not. Bashir is actually coherent, well spoken, and espouses his views at every opportunity. He has clearly displayed that he thinks he's better than the others because of his views and thinks that he has control over what the show is and will be into the future.

It's not a matter of "no religious values inside" so much as what people are willing to tolerate. Bashir pushes his view aggressively at every opportunity which is grating and is the entire reason he has a target on his back.

Once you factor in all the drywall and floor damage they've lost at least $6 million, unfortunately. That's a conservative estimate. The fish mogged the floor too hard and now Jet will really have to get that job at Subway.

Nothing I said was anti-Muslim, I'm talking about Bashir as an individual. He can do all the superficial stuff to fit in and go along with his people but that doesn't mean he actually means what he says. His meltdown over someone having the nerve to stand their ground against him, trying to put the blame on everyone but himself, using money to buy favor, forced pep talks to constantly remind someone "HEY BRO I REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU, I CARE ABOUT YOU, HEY MAN I CARE ABOUT YOU FOR REAL DID YOU KNOW THAT?", his instant seethe when people don't jump to his defense as if its owed to him, etc show he doesn't actually buy into the shit he preaches, it's literally all a mask to come off above it all and wise.

He's based for doing it but hasn't Bashir got the wrath of so many women because he's called them all a whore or something similar at one point? I don't remember any of them coming in hot after him until he says something like that to them.

I just hate Bashir crying about this isn't what Fishtank is about. He's watched other seasons, he's seen the show, but ..he thinks it's about the challenges, and not actively fucking with people?

And the crying about converting someone from a love letter he got. Religion doesn't belong in the tank, and using the show to spread your religion is just absolutely retarded.
Religion is, like, a part of who we are maaaaaan. I don't hate Bashir being faithful but strict religious convictions are going to handicap him in this leg of the show for sure

I'd also add that his moral grandstanding is the biggest problem people have with him. He's trying to act like Fishtank should be some wholesome show where people can share ideas, not Jet's tardhouse.
his "this isn't what fishtank is about" is either him grasping at straws or admitting he's not as much of a fan as he thinks/say he is. THIS IS FISHTANK he should've known that.

I beg you to take a look at the Trad Caths trying to say this show was always Sam Hyde's way of showing the sinfulness and greed of man
How many trad caths does it take to change a lightbulb? 9. 1 to change the lightbulb and 8 to call the Pope a heretic on twitter.

They brought James Drake's girlfriend on in the hope that something shitty would happen, they tried fucking with him too.
They said it was to boost him after Bashir came back. Ben on a pep talk said this after ironically saying they were expecting to fuck with him but it didn't work. That's why she came in after getting childcare with the father of the kids (which is also why she left, she said so).

$6 million? How the fuck will it cost $7 million? I can't believe they've caused $8 million in damages. We are really going to have to buy fishbux so the wiggers can get back their $9 million in damages.

So he is just better at it than Jon? That's the issue? And he thinks he can effect the course of this season, not that every season going forward will only have modest people doing muslim prayers every morning.

And no it has been because he is agressive and fights back which pissed the women off. James Drake and the Twins both had many religious talks with him. The only one who directly pushed on his beliefs was JD and he is just le reddit athiest.

That feels like an excessive, honestly kind of autistic way to look at it. It's more that this season had something genuinely unique to it that we haven't seen in any other season. What other season would be able to pull off Never Die Living like these people did? Did any other season's fish throw out creeps like these ones did? No, that's what Sam made a whole stink out of in Famous House 2. Now we're back to the same old shitshow, and it's a chore.
It's really exhausting.

Bashir worked hard to keep people civil and friends but a lot of people did (not just him). They were nice to everyone even if they hated them and it only got real when it got real. Anissa HATED JD(gay) but was civil. Everyone HATED Vicky (minus Jet) but were fine just taking her as cringe until she went nutso and tamponed JD(gay).

I see the vision. I see a tank where you can go insane and be wild and have fun and compete and be fucked with by production in a funny way without throwing things peepee poopoo jacking off.

The night Landon didn't want to superbed with Laura and the Twins so production turned the whole dorm into helltank to punish him with bed theft/dance monkey/tts was FUNNY.

Jet and Ben coming in with dragon wings and making up dragon wishes for people is FUNNY.

The House 2 was FUNNY.

The custom songs are FUNNY.

Fucking with Landon is FUNNY.

Bongo mogging JD at a rap battle is FUNNY.

James Drake just deciding to STAY HARD in the room out of nowhere on technicality was FUNNY.

There's just a bunch of good moments this season that are genuinely Neptunian and creative without them devolving.

If they don't stop, there's nowhere to go from here. It's just a literal shit flinging contest.
