I'm pretty sure the dichotomy between "friendtank" and "hellhouse" was made up by or at least popularized by AB. During streamstars, she had all of the contestants team up on either side (red for hellhouse, blue for friendtank) based on which version of the show they wanted to represent in the gayest "challenge" ever. INCORRECT STATEMENT ALERT

"Friend tank" is just a catch-all term to strawman people who don't want to see the fish tortured or have the production take out their impotent rage on them because the show is going poorly like they did in season 2. "Hellhouse" is just a catch-all term to strawman people who want conflict and don't want to see the fish get along all day and hang out in autistic summercamp while doing nothing like yesterday's videogame talk in the bar. Everyone knows this and yet I see the terms get thrown around constantly. It's a gay wigger trick to insult you for not just going along with whatever slop they put out.

You can want conflict without wanting sadism or violence. You can want genuine relationships to be formed between contestants and to see them work together without being completely averse to any arguing or scheming. You are allowed to complain if you are bored of the direction of the show.

Landon is too afraid to stand up to Vimp and take his room back, but I know someone who isn't afraid to put his hands on a woman... Send him in Jet. It's time.

It's not my word. It's Ben. I'm not doing the leg work for you, look for the clips yourself
Just did the leg work, never happened.
This is not a choice he was given, they just did it to him.
I didn't say he got a choice, I'm saying if you were given a choice you would pick the latter, you do know what a hypothetical is right?
How would him having a moral supporter negatively effect him in any way?
Cause usually people want to look their best in front of their SO and being berated by TTS, potentially failing challenges, etc can make you look stupid and put you more on edge. Plus there's no way to know how good or bad their relationship is until actually deploying it. Look how they brought on Binx's long time friend and said friend instantly crossed Binx and is starting trouble for her.

I think the subject for the experimentation is himself. It's not really a clinical case study. I do wonder what his control case is, that being said.
This would explain why he’s so coy about revealing the nature of his doctoral studies. A qualitative design wouldn’t require a control, but again, I just don’t see it.

I don't really care about coddled or rigged tank, if Landon doesn't rip this dipshit down off the barricade he absolutely deserves to go home at this point.

If you want to see what rigging looks like, go back and look at what happened to Vance and Tayleigh in their seasons. Until the wiggers stack the deck on Bashir in a way that makes it basically impossible to win crying about muh fairness is retarded.

I wish we had less hellhouse and more conflict resolution methods; the beef bell was a good outlet; removing it was stupid on their end.

I don't like 'friendtank' because it removes the dynamism of freeloaders sent in to start shit. But I think the challenges need to be better thought of. For instance, a SS13-style challenge with the jobs thing, where someone is the Traitor or whatever, is a good thing for Fishtank, and it works within the dynamics.

They clearly can pull it off, they just don't want to sustain it for an extended amount of time. Also, challenges shouldn't span for days, but hours. Have a weekly challenge for elims or immunity, and a daily challenge for resources. Make sure that fucking up reduces resources of the entire group while succeeding increases them. Landon doesn't want to janitor? -30 dollars for the entire cast. Drake does his job well? +10 bonus.

I don't think it came from stream stars or AB. "Hellhouse" was the original name of the show when Sam brainstormed the idea of torturing MDE fans. Jet co-opted the idea into fishbowl fishtank. Everyone that knew of the original hellhouse idea during season 1 were pissed that the contestants weren't being tortured. I can't remember exactly when friendtank became common parlance but I'm pretty sure it was during the first season.

I dont hate Bashir, but it doesnt surprise me that he studied psych. I have met a ton people, even those that only minored in psych, that think they are master manipulators. Yet their shtick becomes obvious once you realize it. Sometimes its one of those things that you felt but couldnt place what it was and then when you realize, you cant believe that you didnt know sooner.

The little smile he does after he asks a question or receives an answer is a good indicator. These people think they are smarter and are trying to extract information to confirm what clinical terms they diagnosed you with

Bashir might not be doing his thesis on fishtank, but he does treat everyone like they are his little test subjects. Maybe one of the reasons he always acts holier than thou and its okay when i do it because im rightous but not okay when you do the same thing. And so confident that his beliefs are right and finds it foolish to consider something that he doesnt believe.

Or hes just a narcissist and im a faggot

You've become brainrotten in your seethe over AB. We've been using friendtank and hellhouse since Season 2 and AB has nothing to do with it. By the time Season 3 hit it was common vernacular for when contestants are too chummy with each other and all conflict gets diffused compared to when conflict is pushed by contestants or particularly production.

guess "james drake coddling" is producting gassing him up and giving him outfits while bashir coddling is giving him a +1 life after he got eliminated, wonder which option is better

So I did a bit of poking around and think I've possibly found some info on the Bam situation.

Someone earlier just said Fulton county and I was so confused because Atlanta is also Fulton county. Thanks for providing the links

I first saw that court date posted in the thread in the first week or so. Definitely has nothing to do with last night, you don't get police visits on a Sunday night before your hearing, if he failed to show up and caught a warrant maybe.

Hey did anyone figure out wtf the outage was last night? I saw the full clip where it clearly looks like Bam is pissed at Jet and about to do something, and Jet calls daddy Ben to handle the situation and walk Bam out... But did anyone figure out anything beyond that? I know everyone is joking about falling off the wagon, but that would be really crazy. Curious if any leaks are out there I havent seen yet.
We don't know, but I have a theory.
Timeline of events:
Bam walked out of basement in foyer, Jet seemed to be trying to hold on to him. Jet calls Ben who runs right down, it's unclear what is said but I think Jet says "... just walked in, go get Bam." Ben goes to Bam in kitchen, asks him to come with him and Bam follows him out the dining room door to the drive way. Vance comes out of basement goes into kitchen followed by Landon and Binx, a heavy set man in a hoody with maybe a badge printed on it comes out of basement with the hoodie pulled up and over his mouth to cover his identity. Cams go down. Twin(s) day he was nice, wasn't Frank, thought he was a friend of Bam. Production says they are understaffed to the Fish, no Fishtoys because only 3 people in basement. TTS, Fishtoys get turned off, Auto-approve gets turned off(meaning they are filtering) and TTS comes back up. A few minutes later Vance starts passing out candy again. I don't think Ben or Jet are seen before I went to bed with in the hour or all happened.

The two major theories:
- Bam was getting arrested/welfare check from the police and fled into the House
-Bam relapsed, a friend, like Head, cave to help him out and he fled into the House.

My theory:
I think the Hoodieman is the off duty officer production is paying for security outside to help with swattings. I think it was a welfare check(Twins mistook something like "I'm here to check on Bam" as being his friend), Bam out of paranoia or just not wanting to be around police hops up into the Tank, Ben gets him outside to talk to the cop, probably nothing happens? Bam seems shifty but not super agitated, he doesn't resist going with Ben at all.

Edit: Check the resources I've found, not arrest records for Bam in Fulton county, they've not yet updated their general arrest list. Bam's wife isn't posted to her Instagram since March 23.
