Tonight seemed like a pivotal night. I think most viewers feel that James Drake vs Bashir has to be the final 2 and any other outcome doesn't feel right.

I feel like there's a large portion of fans who genuinely believe that production wants James Drake to win and is getting favors and coddled. I simply think production is trolling fans who are doom-posting about that BUT fans really do believe that and if James Drake somehow wins the show (even fairly) I think it does more harm to Fishtank than good. Maybe the minority is always the loudest but I saw a screenshot on Twitter today of someone cancelling their Fishtank subscription, citing "rigged" as the reason why. People are now speaking with their wallet because they think the show is rigged for James to win it.

i got around to watching doorgate and this is exactly what i mean when i talk about drake and ego. any person who knows how to fight would steamroll drake with zero issue. if drake wasn't in better shape than literally everyone else, he'd have a tougher time wrestling bashir.

for someone who has a music degree that he doesn't use, has starred in numerous cringe YouTube videos and indie films, plus being unable to father his own ((WHITE)) children, you'd think he'd have a better outlook on life

That’s everything these days. We’ve been conditioned this way because of modern politics. It’s all tribal, all “my guy vs their guy” mindset. Because unity is an enemy of the powers that be. I’m guilty of it, I think everyone is. Hell, I won’t lie, part of my dislike of Bash is his religion. Obviously he’s not a gun toting brown terrorist, but for literally my entire time on this planet, I’ve been conditioned to see his religion as a direct threat of my country and of who I am as an American.


Don’t get me wrong, it is. But this dude specifically is not. He’s just a moralfag and complains a lot when he doesn’t get his way because of his autism or whatever the fuck he has, that’s the other 66% of my issues with him lol.

This is what I was trying to say when I criticized Bash's grappling before, he refuses to exert force. Doorgate showed this too, I don't think he was trying to hit Drake with the door

I think he was spooked and trying to throw the door away from himself with little regard for where it ended up. It's the same as him trying to kick Drake away during the grappling. If one of those kicks had landed it might have fucked him up.
Bash needs to lock in and start using his strength instead of flailing around. He's not significantly weaker than Drake.
