They talk about needing subscriptions and I have no idea if they look at this thread, but my honest gripe with giving ben and jet money is that they can be scumbags. They have an image problem. I dont like that jet fucks the contestants and Ben was a fucking bully this season (like every season).
I think Jet and Ben learned a lot wrong lessons about how to collaborate with other creatives, coordinate teams and organize outside funding from Sam. Sam is able to make it work for him through sheer force of personality, insane work ethic, and getting creative energy from being an outsider and constantly starting from zero. Jet and Ben don't have that. Burning bridges, bad faith words and actions, and being a capricious dick flying on the seats of their pants means whatever project they work on is going to be so much harder to pull off.

I was planning to make a longer AMV of the Landon rape from last night/this morning but I just don't have the time to work on an edit that long so I slapped this together very quickly so I can focus on more important things.

Glassroom/market- what are these rooms for? Why so much glass/mirrors?
In the tank, the market is what it is, and served a purpose. I think the glassroom was supposed to be a party room, what with the hookah and poker kit, but the fish just didn't go for it.

There were a few moments in the first week where they'd congregate there and smoke the hookah

I wonder what the return of investment would be leasing a warehouse for house builds compared to what they’ve been doing already: buying and reselling a preexisting house after maintenance & repairs. Surely the warehouse can’t be the cheaper option, right? Then again, if they go the warehouse route they don’t necessarily need to build a “house”. They could build whatever the hell they want.
Thats the appeal of the warehouse
They could paint the interior to look lolemouteide (or even space) and basically build and re-arrange re-model it however they want + it's a commercial zone

They do just fine, the show is extremely profitable. Even with just a mere two weeks of show in 2025 they had revenue above 1.5m pushing towards 2m from all of the stream star stuff going on. Season 2.5 as a whole was certainly in the black because Cell/Bitchtank were done solely to generate revenue. Season 3 is probably the one season that wasn't in the black because of design and failure -- no TTS initially then at the end when the RV stuff began.
I don't know why people keep saying they're insanely profitable when they read off the gross income numbers to the fans in the post-season wrap-up. When you take into account the preseason and postseason overhead costs to production with all the setup and breakdown to the house, then split the net remainder among the members of production, it's likely most of these guys are barely getting middle-class wages. I can believe Jet when he says they're squeaking by.

They desperately need a professional accountant with entertainment business experience to help structure their production and books to eke out and stretch every penny they can and give cogent advice.

I am catching up and holy lol that is GENERATIONAL aura loss from little buddy Landon. Cringe kino up there with "Scott's Tots."

I know exactly what women want. I tell my wife "get in the truck we're going for a ride" and she gets super excited. Women want to sit passenger in a v8 diesel. Nothing else.

Are you married to a golden retriever

They’ve made every house work for Fishtank purposes, especially S3 which, if it was being used for anything other than FT, would definitely have the most unnecessary shit. But @frogzard ‘s dumb bitch girlfriend said this house was “gorgeous”, which is wildly untrue

This is honestly true. As a small perspective, when I showed my girlfriend fishtank this season, one of her FIRST comments was, "wow this house is gorgeous." Its an important part of the show.

I think them building a house in a warehouse is only a good idea if they can make an interesting, but cheap to repair house.
Imagine how cool a 2D room in the house could be, like this cafe in Japan:

The s3 house was awful, with everything being too far from cameras, with dogshit sound. The house worked great. Sometimes rooms just don't get used a lot, especially when they're co-opted into bedrooms.

And it is a gorgeous house. I love what they did with the bar room.
