With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I didn’t even want the twins to win and I thought the ending was bad. I did not care at all who won until Drake won the poop challenge which made me figure that he probably deserved it. They could have come up with something less humiliating for the final challenge.
 
So this was the grand vision Ben had for Drake?

The guy coasts most of it, losing most of the things he is in. Then he chokes out two mongs and everyone pretends he had such a hard journey beating Emma and the Twins? Bashir had to have it rigged against him, and it built to nothing. Ben made it out it was some grand plan.

The first season without Sam has been a bit of a mess. Oh well, next time I am sure they will fix the issues they keep having over and over again. See you faggots when Drake disavows and condemns Jet and Ben as evil racists, and helps support a gofundme to get them deplatformed.

i understand that they were going for the heckin cool season 1 call back of josie and letty in the kiddy pool. i get the goo was supposed to be a mystery for half of the season, and that the true meaning to the goo was supposed to be revealed at the very end. maybe they even wanted to rig the challenge for drake. but they had to have known the twin's past, and how this would actually look. they could have had SOMETHING else to do with the goo, even though jet couldn't rig it for bashir. he even admitted to trying to. the season didn't end in a cheer, i don't think, from anyone besides the wiggers. and burt who was yelling "choke those bitches" the entire time.

I was going to say something about this earlier, how Fishtank winners typically embody a spirit of selv overcoming and thus far Landon (until the last few days) was the only one with a growth arc, and James Drake's arc was about a descent into madness. And here we are. We've arrived at the clip that forever lives on the internet that can't be explained to your girlfriend, or your boss, or a casting director, or anyone really. He won the $50k but it destroyed him completely. Neptunian Kino.

This, Drake might be the first winner to come out a lot worse than how he went in (money aside obviously).
 
I usually feel bummed when the season ends because I will miss my gay dating show

But this one, just bad feeling. Just a real pit feeling. Fishtank endings always had a comedic or triumphant feeling to it and this one felt like neither. Even James Drake getting emotional just... nothing but void.
 
I'm not gonna lie, when they handed Burt that check I was hoping it would be for $0 again.
 
Watch the fight but only watch Burt, dude was going crazy. Direct quote "CHOKE THEM! CHOKE THE LIFE OUT OF THEM! CHOKE THE SHIT OUT OF THEM!" then when Bingo starts crying he starts laughing like an evil villain in a movie lmao.
 
The real winner this season was TJ. Man had the opportunity to come on with Binx and he backed out at the last second because of a "bad gut feeling".
