Vimp and Binx were fucking around with the goo for photos and Vimp got stuck.

She left her shoes in the goo to escape:

Overall, having slept on it, here are my thoughts:
This was a very good season. It's my second favorite overall behind S3. It had a very solid cast, it actually ended without interruption, and I had a lot of fun with Sneedchat and the thread. It also had a very solid cast of freeloaders, some great feuds and B plots.
Drake/Bashir and Burt/Dumbgay are easily the 2 best feuds in Fishtank history. If you want to say Bashir/Drake watermelon golf was the real finale I won't stop you. I felt this was the strongest final 3 in Fishtank history too.
The finale made me very uncomfortable, I watched it all the way through but I muted it after a bit because it was really, really hard to watch. I see what they thought it would be on paper but that was just a giant misfire, and it made me think about the nature of Fishtank finales. There are two types of finales, challenge-based and entertainment finales. Challenge-based would be the S2 finale and the S5 finale, and also the cell finale of S1 (even though that wasn't the REAL finale). Entertainment-based is the Willy Wonka ending of S1 and the Burt ending of S3 (as well as the new, canonical S3 Shit Wars ending). I think I prefer entertainment-based endings where they just arbitrarily pick the winner. I've also realized Sam has this raw creativity that the wiggers just don't and he would have come up with a much more entertaining finale imo. The Willy Wonka ending was his idea, as was the Burt desert ending. I don't hold any ill will against James Drake, he wanted to win and he had the killer instinct to do it even though it sucked. The people alogging him are cringe.
The finale wrestling definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, but vibes were (partially) restored by what they did after with the more lighthearted S3 ending and then the cameras staying on. Being able to go through the house, see familiar faces and hear familiar sounds, as well as see the twins all cleaned up, goo-less, and seemingly fine did a lot to make me feel better.
Overall I am cautiously optimistic about Fishtank's future. I will be renewing my season pass for this month in anticipation of promised post-season content. If I get more than 10 hours of at least solid entertainment over the next month, for a cost of less than $1 per hour when it's all said and done, I will keep renewing.
Each season of Fishtank is its own closed system, its own science experiment. The fun of watching is figuring out what this season will turn into. Ironically, Bashir's content cucking attempts and his insistence that Fishtank "should" be Friendtank are what made me realize this. Fishtank shouldn't be anything but an experiment and we just see where it goes. Each season is different because it's seeded with a different cast and different circumstances. That's part of the magic.
Now I have to catch up on all the lolcows I've neglected for the past 4 weeks
