FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S MASTERPIECE THEATRE

I decided that I shall try and embue this thread with positivity, so in order to do that, I'll review these things and list some positive things I witnessed!

THE MOVIE TRAILER:
The only thing I can give it credit for is it's choice in music.
Also, nice flickering light effect, kid.
That's literally all I have to say.

THE MS SPEED PAINT:
Didn't watch it. I don't think you can say much for an MS speed paint anyhow.

THE MEETING OF SPRINGTRAP AND MANGLE:
It's suprisingly not voice acted, as I had assumed at first while looking at the preview. Music's a collecion of various things, and it's story isn't much to say about. It's mostly just about Springtrap hunting for a dead body, or something incredibly stupid unoriginal strange like that.
As for the art, it's fine for a 12-13 year old's efforts, though I'm under the impression that's not the age of the author. I assume that they're older, possibly by a couple years. I'm not one to judge, as I would just give them bean bodies and silly faces to accentuate the overall emotion of hilarity that a chuckie cheese mascot going "BOOGEDY BOOGEDY BOO!" into your face elicits.

THE BITE OF 87 ANIMATED:
I agree with @Bugaboo that it is indeed strange that they're cats. I was bored the second it started, and skipped around a small bit. Besides the title, I skimmed over a line of dialouge from the FNAF 4 scene where:
The kid gets his head crushed in Golden Freddy's Jaws
, and could immediately tell that it wasn't original in any way.

Well, this expenditure was completely pointless. In my hunt for positivity, I only dragged out more stupidity.

Whelp, Looks like we have scientific proof that the FNAF community is an embodiment of autism for the most part [/captainobvious].

Shouldn't kids in preschool be a fan of Dora the Explorer or something, and not FNAF? At least that franchise is educational, teaching Spanish and shit. It even has a fox in it like FNAF does!

EDIT: Wait...FNAF is educational. The overarching lesson? Don't follow strangers to isolated places, especially at Chuck E. Cheese's. Because then they will kill you by shoving you into an animatronic suit, and then you will be a ghost haunting the scary animatronic suit forever. The end.
I think it teaches kids that they shouldnt go near furries or else they'll try to kidnap them and put them in a fur suit.

I have a question:
Why is the fox so damn popular? People (read: DA creeps) seem to think he has this dark personality, but last time I checked none of the characters in the game had any personality. They're just things that try and kill you.

I don't know if anyone has brought this guy up yet, but there's this YouTuber called "Smike" who shits out tons of Five Nights related top 10 lists. He's not a lolcow or anything, but he seems to be a significant factor for the hardcore fans. To get a sense of his standards of quality, some quick YouTube scrolling reveals some of his video titles:
-Top 10 Facts About Freddy
-Top 10 Theories About Freddy
-Top 10 Foxy Fanart
-Top 10 Cupcake Facts
I saw a few of his videos, and they're basically the same thing over and over again: just stating facts he found on Reddit or Tumblr.

The reason I bring this guy up is because his comments section in the epitome of FNaF sperging: one third is people bitching at him for milking the Five Nights games, one third is people defending him for milking FNaF games (nearly all of these comments start with "Attention, haters!"), and one third is people admitting they only watch this guy's crap for the comments section.
Just a quick scroll through the comments on one of his videos is a great showcase of how dumb the fandom can get. Oh, and there's tons of over analyzing random shit in the game there, too.

I can't blame the people getting angry at him milking the franchise.

The guy's got 1,000,000 subscribers already, and all he's done is talk about FNAF.

There are people who got popular via FNAF that I think are cool, like phillip-bankss, but this is a tad bit outrageous.

Oh, he's definitely milking the hell out of it. But every single anti-Smike comment has become a "Smilk" pun (seriously), and it's become just as annoying as the people who defend him.

Whelp, I take my post back.

If they're making shitty puns repeatedly, they're milking the joke just like he's milking the franchise.

Trust me, you don't want to see how dumb the comments have gotten. Here's a breakdown from looking at the comments of a few of his videos:
-Smilk jokes
-People skipping the "milk" part and just writing "moo" (seriously, this exists)
-People saying stop the Smilk jokes
-People saying stop saying stop the Smilk jokes (again, this is real)
-Actual requests for more shitty videos
-"I just came here for the comments hur hur lolz"

It's really sad.

Well my friend, that could summarize most of youtube, to be honest.

Oh, I almost forgot: there are a lot of comments saying, "the franchise is almost over, your channel will be screwed Smike" (which I kind of agree with, I can't see him doing much with his channel after).

This brings up something I've noticed about the FNaF fandom: they seem to be in complete denial that the game series will end after the upcoming DLC. Case in point, the creator posted a "farewell" image on the website, and people are brightening it left right and centre to see if there's some hidden message hinting towards a new game. Surprise surprise, there was nothing there, and now people are actually making up stories about seeing shit after brightening, just to convince them that the franchise isn't done.

If you see the people talking about this on forums and Reddit and etc., it's actually really sad to see. I honestly feel pity for those people, they've become so desperate.

TLDR: The fan base is extremely desperate for a new game and can't fucking live without it. It's pathetic.

I just can't wait for the FNAF movie! Because everyone knows that video game movies aren't doomed from the start...

Well I mean the Resident Evil movies are pretty successful, and there's been some other moderate successes out there.

The Resident Evil movies where successful in terms of box office success, but I do believe that most fans of the games hated them.

The FNAF movie, like other video game movie, will just be an attempt at cash grab, taking advantage of a popular franchise and milking it for all it's worth. Not to mention that the fans will overanalyze every detail of it like they do with the games 'story' and sperg out when it doesn't live up to their expectations.

I don't care how talented the movie director is, I don't think there is any way for the movie to please the fans. 1) these people are too attached to their head canons and 2) these people will over analyze the hell out of the movie and nitpick for minor details to complain about.
