Five Nights At Freddy's

Looks like it's time for me to make up some more whacked-out theories about this game!

What if these newest fucked-up looking animatronics are situated in hell/limbo? After the Springtrap suit burnt up in the fire, the purple murderer's spirit moved on to limbo/hell. For his punishment for his actions in life, purple murderer has to be a security guard to these fucked up looking animatronics...in hell/limbo. Idk.

Here's one that I found somewhere: What if it's all a dream or some sort of hallucination? Could work for the likes of the previous guards Mike or Jeremy or even the Bite of '87 victim.

All I'm wondering now is how these Nightmare-line of Animatronics act towards kids? Apparently they were always a friend to the children before.

Now I'm just getting this idea of the Nightmare Freddy getting all depressed because the kids won't go near him. :(

Welp, if anything, Scott Cawton is telling me to clean my laptop screen of dust. Oh yeah, and get my eyes checked with my optometrist.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Five Nights At Over Rated Game
Despite my username, I don't like the games in the series. And the overabundance of shit videos on the internet, with nothing but screaming morons, did not help one bit.
The only thing, that got my interest, is the lore. A very creepypasta-like lore, that isn't shovelled down your throat, but hidden in plain sight.
That's the only redeeming quality of FNAF for me.

Same here. Not a fan of horror games where you just stand in one place. The lore is quite interesting thou and is what made the characters endearing for me.

That and Hitlerpimp's videos.

I find the creepypassta-like lore the most fascinating part of these games as well. However, the most interaction I've had with with these games are watching some Let's Plays and reading the wiki. I've never actually played any of the games myself.

The insane FNAF fandom, with the furries, kintyping, shipping, and sperging in general, keeps me a faaaar distance from the series.

The insane FNAF fandom [...]
It might be a weird reason, but I got interested in the lore only because of the fanarts.
Before anyone rallies pitchfork and torch wielding mob coming for me, the author of those images was Weaver, mostly known as the narrator for the Ruby Quest, held on /tg/.

The way he gave the animatronics and Mike personalities and had fun with them, had me wanting to know a bit more about the game and look pass the dumb twitch-reflex minigame, with instant game overs and more screamers and jumpscares than necessary.
When FNaF2 came out, I even liked the run-down look of the new place with withered animatronics. And since I always have a thing for antagonists (insert Hatred joke here) and anti-heroes, I really liked the Purple Guy. The fanarts and speculations made me even more interested, yet I still held the game in low regard. Even though I did notice and improvement in gameplay.

On a side note (I hope no one posted it before - if so, I'm sorry for the reminder), if you'd be interested in finding more fanart, I propose 5naf at booru.org, as they have a massive gallery made by drawfags and (hopefully) not furfags, posted beforehand on our favorite image board.
But I'd still recommend searching with "-rating:explicit", as there is some NSFW stuff. Unless it floats your boat.

I mostly only like FNaF for the story. The gameplay is a bit boring, but the story is what got me interested in the series at all. Also, I really liked watching Markiplier's playthrough of the games. Aside from decent story and Markiplier, FNaF has absolutely nothing else going for it in my mind.
