Orbiter "Flutter" / "Egg" / "Cabbage Patch" / "Meryl" / "Food Lion lady" - Modern Christory's biggest mystery

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
As much as it pains me to say this, Chris does have a right to defend himself - and a history of pepper-spraying at least one person. Running up to them and getting in their faces could be construed as a hostile act, and if he did decide to hit someone with bear spray he'd probably be facing zero charges for doing so.
Maybe in the US but Finland may be different. He could be fucked if he did this

He wouldn’t be able to get hold of pepper spray like he can in the US.

It’s not illegal to own, but unless you have a license and a role in which you need to use it, you can’t carry it.

Basically if he pepper sprayed someone, he would wind up in trouble.

How serious the trouble would be, I can’t say exactly.

Doubtful. Chris has told other people attempting to take their pictures before to fuck off, and probably realises that the China-on-a-stick in front of his face will go away for real this time if he lets someone deliberately get a picture of (or with) them.

The redditor is, like virtually all redditors, a retard for suggesting the run-and-gun approach to this. This would only make for even bigger lols for us. A clear pic of Flutter, and a mazed plebbitor. I see no downside to this.

In the US there's absolutely nothing that fatty or flutter could do about it. In the US in public you have zero right to privacy unless in a changing room or restroom or something like that.
I think they mean that Chris could claim that someone running up to them and waving something in their faces is reasonable grounds for self defense.

If that argument is successful then using pepper spray is potentially lawful.

It’s not cut and dry, but it’s certainly more of a justification than just pulling out a spray and spraying someone who took a photo from a few meters away without asking.

Redditors should just run up to Flutter and take a paparazzi shot of her, even if it comes with the chance of them getting faildoxed by Caden. There's literally no downsides.
This is just a ground hog day thread. Every time I see its active I just see this same conversation happening again like its the first time.
Redditor posts Blurry Bigfoot pictures--->Hey why didn't they take a good picture of her face?--->Because Reddit--->They Should run up and take a good picture!--->Why Doesn't Clint put Flutter in a home?--->Random rumors and speculation takes us back to---> Redditor Posts Blurry Bigfoot Pictures. Rinse and Repeat.

We might as well lock this til something other than Blurry pictures or people making up bullshit gets posted.

Virginia basically says you do not have a right to privacy if you're out in public. If Chris and Flutter are walking down the street, and someone comes up and takes their picture, doesn't initiate any kind of contact, there's nothing either could do about it. If it's in a mall, then that's up to the mall if they want to kick that person out.

Chris "gets scared" and pepper sprays someone will not go over well for him. He already has a ding on his background from the GameStop incident, which will come up with a casual background check, which will not help him at all. Besides, what's he going to say?

Police: "So what happened?"

Chris, completely out of breath, sweating, stuttering "This this troll ran up and took my picture and waved something in my f f face and I sprayed him!"

Police: "They hit you with something?"

Chris, flustered and breathing heavily, "No they took my picture! I was scared because they waved something in my face!"

Police: "Can you do me a favor? Turn around and put your hands on top of your head"

"Being scared" does not allow anyone in Virginia, or most states, to assault someone. Doesn't matter if they're evil trolls or whatever. It sure didn't help Chris not get arrested after the GameStop and it sure won't stop him getting arrested if he does it again.

One bonus thing is, it appears Flutter is a foreign national. If she has anything to do with a potential Chris assault, the laws are very, very different, and she'll be spending some time in a jail cell potentially for a ICE hearing, which may result in a ban coming to the US.

My suggestion has always been to just walk towards them holding up your phone while talking loudly at it like you are on a video call.

But of course, you are not and have the video running.

Doing so would give you a good chance of a clear image of her but shouldn’t alert suspicion in them as obnoxious people do do this on occasion.
Bonus points if you are actually calling someone and screen recording while doing it.

I didn’t mean it like that.

Just that should it happen and the cops or a judge accepts that Chris reasonably thought he was going to be attacked, then he might get off or be just let go with a slap on the wrist.

If the ween ran up to them hollering and brandishing their phone like a weapon, with supporting CCTV evidence, then it’s conceivable.

Weens can be fucking stupid and might think that such an approach would frighten Chris for lulz.

Keep in mind that Chris is a repeat offender. If he did mace someone, he would most likely get a harsher sentence than usual.
Flutter would also most likely be prosecuted under the finnish laws, which are way harsher on that. That being said, finnish prisons are so chill, lot of homeless people commit crimes just to get there.

As for the weens who do this?
Unironically, the most legal way to sight Chris would be at his property, just like what TwistedFreak did. If you did it in public, Chris could use those technicalities like self defense and shit. However, Chris lives next to a highway, and different laws apply to that. If you took pics there, you'd have no legal ramifications whatsoever.
Of course, everything here is purely hypothetical and from the legal standpoint, plus, if you use this advice and try to spot Chris on purpose, that's weening. People who tend to spot Chris naturally either do not take pics, or they make low quality, spontanous pics and share them on alts, without even knowing who Flutter is, and that's why we get such horrible photos.

As is repeatedly stated, in Virginia there is no expectation of privacy when you are in public.
This literally means that anyone can take a photo of you without needing to obtain permission, if you are outside.

Yep, as long as they're in a public way they can take a photo of you. They could stand on the road and take a photo of you outside of your house and there's fuck all you could do about it

Then I forgot what it was about.
Maybe it was relating to house photos?

the only way we’d be able to ID flutter is if we can verify that she even was some finnish imageboard attention whore.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this would make her 13 in the year 2008?

I don’t think this is her. Look at the ears, she’s also wearing glasses in each photo. Flutter doesn’t wear glasses and from what I can tell doesn’t have pierced ears. I don’t know.

Unfortunate how poor the quality of the pictures of Flutter are. It is hard to compare the basic features between the photos.
