This answers some of the financial questions about why someone would spend so much money on flights from another continent to see Chris and works as a way to keep things somewhat under wraps.

Chris is an adult. There's probably nothing Caden can do to physically keep Chris in the house. Even if it came down to blows, Chris looks like he's got at least 50 pounds on Caden, he could just sit on the dweeb.
Caden is probably someone Caden met either in university or through selling shrooms dumb enough to be the carrot to his "carrot and stick" plan to tardwrangle Chris at the new house. Caden's gotta be paying her, I don't see a normal-looking (as in non deformed or slow-in-the-mind) woman spending time with Chris unless they're being paid, or it's a troll op, but I doubt flutter is a girlfriend troll a-la Jackie or any of the others.

the finland stuff feels more and more like something meant to be a distraction rather than anything actually important. flutter most likely has grandparents from finland who taught her some words which she said to chris.

which then resulted in chris trying to learn more to impress her. i would not be surprised if some of the pictures of flutter and chris in the wild were also done on purpose to further muddy things.

it could even be possible that flutters job is not to be a handler but just be a distraction that also helps fuel interest in chris and maybe even helps push future merch sales.

what i wonder about is what exactly does flutter get from this? unless she is more of a retard than chris she has to be getting something from this. either money or enjoyment from all the eyes she has on her every move. even in a reality where there is no praetor involvement and she is honestly just friends with chris.

the amount of effort to visit him just seems like way more of a hassle than it should be. why does she not just move in with chris? whats stopping her?

This might explain why Caden set up the house with all that security on top of securing it from weens. (Or cops if the drug lab theory is true) The security cams are probably monitorable from a phone app, which Caden and presumably Flutter would have access to. She could see when Chris is coming and going and plan her day accordingly to avoid running into him.
