More unpopular with just my family and friends but I’m the only one in that group who likes ginger ale/ginger beer. Get told all the time it’s “an old man’s soda”
It's weird; I like the flavor, but if I'm around people and I'm drinking it, people think my stomach's upset. Do they really only drink it if they're sick?

In the states at least it is stereotyped (along with chicken noodle soup) as being a comfort food for people getting over the flu. I like the taste also but I get teased as being an old man for drinking it rather than people thinking I’m sick. It’s just weird to me people get so hung up over fucking ginger ale of all things.

I used to love the Jamaican ginger beer when I was a kid. Not sure if I'd want it now although I drink other hot ginger beverages.
I don't think it's that odd to like it as a kid because kids would chew Cry Baby bubble gum and candy like it was nothing. Extreme sour is just another extreme.

The first time I had balut I thought it was fucking awesome. It tasted like tender, delicious duck meat in a warm, yolky sauce. I might have been drunk or high. Further attempts at enjoying it have been a lot more mundane.
I recently found out surströmming goes really kickass with pickled okra, rice and peas, and a tortilla. I think others would agree with my opinion if they tried it/had the money to import authentic surströmming.
I have always wanted to try it but I have never managed to find it.

i have a silly story. when i was a kid (~12) i used to work with horses, one time we were allowed to give them black licorice as a treat, which i can tolerate (i wouldn't go out of the way to buy it).
the horses did not want the black licorice. so i ate it instead

Dr. Pepper. I like it,nobody else save for my father once in a blue moon does,my mother comparing the taste to medicine. On another note they seem to enjoy Coca-Cola and I'm not.really a big fan of caramel copper flavored battery acid.
For me its Diet Dr. Pepper.

Pet peeve is restaurants with regular dr. Pepper but no diet.

I like kofola personally but no one literally knows what is that
