Only thing interesting about the Xbox One was its ESRAM, which was mostly used to compensate for its slow DDR4 RAM. I don’t think many games made much use out it of unlike the eDRAM on the PS2, which was used to give certain graphics effects for Gran Turismo 4 like the heat haze. Looking back, the PS2 was one crazy design of a console, 48Gb/s memory bandwith and dual dedicated vector processors. All modern console architectures are boring, PS and Xbox are just whatever AMD has in stock, and the Switch just takes Nvidia's mobile chips.
The One has been hacked, but it's been patched out of the latest firmware.
Wrong video, the one you linked still uses Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.
This video shows how to do it with a free XBLA demo (Rock Band Blitz)
Worst case scenario is they pull Xbox Live for the 360 titles. Hopefully that won't happen, I just got back into the 360 era of Call of Duty and aside from the odd modded lobby its been relatively decent.Just make sure you don't update it. I suppose microsoft is going to try and patch things up soon. Maybe they don't care considering the consoles age...the main thing I am hyped to do is play marble blast ultra the way God intended.
Then again, I don’t thing the jeet programmers could understand Microsoft’s old code from back then, never mind PPC assembly.
Is Kodi needed? The 360 already had a decent media player built into its dashboard as long as you got the file format right, and it supported DLNA. Either way a £50 Android TV box would be a much better experiance today.I'd really love a kodi port to the xbox 360. It never got one. Kodi originally started life as XBMC. Which was OG xbox exclusive.
I know you can run on an sbc and get better performance, most likely. But damn it, I still wanna see it.
lol no. That's hardware. There's probably ways to fix RROD. but idk.
Its mostly the early fat models. The late fats, Slim, and E models work fine as they never had the RROD issue. Or if they did, it was extremely rare.
I hope this helps unlock the consoles security system, practically when it comes to reflashing the memory since the 4GB models have a tendency to die due to faulty flash memory, it even affects the Wii U. RGH is good, but not always accessible to everyone and finding someone that can do it can be difficult, especially if it means sending your console off to a stranger to do it.
Also if anyone has the time, have a watch of the old Xbox security deconstruction videos between the two consoles.
