Forgotten / Memory-holed Psyops - What things do you believe were pushed heavily into public consciousness only to be forgotten that they were pushed at all?

The overpopulation scare encouraging families to have less or no kids, followed by mass importation of browns to solve the demographics crisis.

Incredibly sinister in retrospect. China also fell for it (probably harder than the West tbh) but haven’t done the second phase.

Oh I remember that big-time getting pushed hard in Schools even to this day.

As for China, what fucked them hard is the One Child policy. Factor in that in Chink culture that men are more important than women... its why there's a huge boom in males and hardly any females. However, in a few decades, an interesting inversion took place. Now there's tons of women who cannot seem to find a man. Vid related.

The Girlboss psyop is something that has been ongoing for decades already with its detrimental effects being made obvious recently. This ties into the overpopulation meme because a good chunk of the women who ate the girlboss lie also eats up tons of other psyops which includes muh climate, orange man bad, along with other lies the system has consistently crapped out. Personal favorite is that niggers are desirable as mates for women. Because that psyop is still ongoing.

TL;DR: The system has a ton of psyops (forgotten and not) and all of them have been for control and subjugation.

Climate change action almost universally revolves around legislatives around control over the behaviours of private people.
Not to mention it plays with the modern anti-God idea that humanity is extremely more powerful and that we not G*d can dictate nature. (Much like the Tranny idea of how we get to decide what a woman is and can change ourselves whenever we want.)
That's why nuclear power is seen as evil.
A successful Psyop during the 80's - now is the demonization of the most Green of Green Energy being Nuclear.
I think a very prime example of this is the show the Simpsons in which it is made to seem dangerous, corrupt, not powerful, only there to make the rich richer, and can kill everyone around it in seconds with ease.

Looking back, and not enough people study this, the Simpsons were big artbiters of Psyops against the moral majority at the time. Be it Anti-Christian, pro-Eastern / Foreign religions, anti-Family, anti-fathers, pro-activism (notice how many Lisa episodes she MUST be in the right, since she is usually the writer's self-insert), anti-meat, promotes the Left is cool message (look how they treat leftist presidents compared to the right. Example: Bill Clinton on most adult animation shows Family Guy, Simpsons, etc... is at worst a lovable cool guy with a bad wife and at best the coolest guy in the world, look at him play Jazz!!!).

Forgot to mention one of the biggest Psyops that the Simpsons pulled off was Apu

He was made to be the nicest, smartest, wisest, most American, most talented and hard working guys in the show overall. And his character influenced many people's beliefs on immigrants, illegal and legal, for decades (especially those from India).

After he was taken out and people got more access to the internet....well it is not hard to say that Apu did a lot of heavy lifting when it came to people's perception of India and Indian immigrants as a whole.

Hari Kondabolu ruined his people's image forever due to this. I wonder if he regrets his movie as it didn't make people think he was a funnier comedian.

The whole aid for Africa grift is pretty much dead in the public consciousness now. You never hear about the starving children in Africa anymore, and you don’t get any celebrity stuff like Live Aid. It still exists, of course, it’s just way more lowkey. Even the big earthquake in Burma led to not much at all as far as public outreach for aid.

Now it’s total mask off fund forever wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.

I think all the Africa aid is just fully established now and not dependent on public support anymore. The goals have been achieved: Permanent structures for money laundering in Africa are in place. The only danger is when someone like Trump comes in and slashes institutions like USAID.
We don't really talk about foreign aid a lot so it comes as a surprise how much money western nations throw at other countries. Germany pays millions for cycling paths in Peru, for example. Or for teaching feminism in Afghanistan. It's all money laundering.
Oh, and in terms of UN aid it's also sex trafficking because of course it is.

I think "The New Normal" could become a contender. Like I said, that whole insane ordeal felt more like a drill or simulation, even though the coof was still a real disease.
It's a very weird one. It could have been a test run for how much control you can force upon the population, but I also can see how much of the response was just population dynamics and people being stupid.
In the very early days, most governments said it was nothing, and the more conservative people got a bit spooked and thought the world was ending. Governments and whorenalists leaned hard against that, calling everyone a Nazi who was scared of people coming into their country, especially Chinese, and laughed everyone who avoided contact.
Then something changed, and suddenly the Coof was the end of the world as we know it, and collectively governments and whorenalists swung around to proclaim that everyone not falling in line was a Nazi and mass murderer. See Trump, who in the early days promised the vaccine, and the Left refused the vaccine made by Drumpf. Then when it was "ready", it was absolutely non-negotiable to get it.
Maybe the shift happened because someone decided to take the opportunity to see how far they can push the population. Personally, I go by the "don't assume malice when incompetence is sufficient as an explanation" rule whenever possible, and I think the shift happened because when the Coof was actually pretty dangerous in the eary days, governments all around panicked and did whatever they could to look like they have things under control. It was a feedback loop of stupid people and stupid politicians and dangerous "scientists" who gained capital from the whole thing.
But I'm not opposed to there being more nefarious purposes behind it all. I don't think most whorenalists were actively told what to write, those "people" naturally fall into lockstep because they're scum. "The Science" had to fall in line because it was their reputation on the line. But some politicians might have seized the opportunity to see how far they can go.
And now they know.
Years later I still see the occasional article about "there's this new variant that could be dangerous this summer", and the occasional person with a mask on the train, but the former is something most people don't give a shit about, and the latter might be an adoption of the asian practice of masking up when you're sick yourself, which I don't disagree with.
But the whole thing is being memory holed, true. I don't think there's much active research into vaccine side effects, no active research into actual vaccine efficacy, no attempts at reconciliation for jobs lost or massive government overreach. We had police chasing down kids sledding down mountains, police cars running over lawns in parks to chase down people who were out too close to each other.
It was a shitshow and there will be no repercussions for anything. Many kids had their developments stunted or at least adversely affected by the lockdowns, and there's nothing done about it. And some people are still psychotic about the whole thing. Either still masking themselves and their kids up being afraid of the apocalypse, or having given themselves chronic fatigue syndrome or whatever in their Post COVID panic.

I'll throw you guys a lesser known one.

Stephen Hawking.

Guy died in like the mid-80s or something but he was the public face of science so they just shoved a new cripple in a wheelchair and kept the grift going for another thirty years. Then, I guess for diversity's sake, they benched that cripple and replaced him with Black Science Man instead.

Not sure if the picture will come through. My usual browser isn't working and I'm using the Tor Browser. But this schizo does a good write up of it and includes lots of pictures to make it ironclad.

A lot of the 9/11 memes going around these days feel like an overdone tryhard attempt to get normies to forget about it and see all of it as a joke so that they'll stop asking questions about the criminal incompetence of our government, the sheer corruption involved and the absolute disaster the resulting war on terror was.
You mean big homo.

they make sure this knowledge that AIDs is spread by faggots which was caused by one particular faggot is heavily suppressed
They tried to blame haitians for bringing AIDS to America. In reality it turns out it was gays from over here flying there to rape haitians boys who then got AIDS. They died faster due to lack of even basic healthcare, not because AIDS started there before.
A successful Psyop during the 80's
Nah it was even earlier, around the 70's with crap like the china syndrome. The three mile island incident was nothing, incredibly blown out of proportion. Most normies still don't know greenpeace was and still is bankrolled by oil companies like shell that didn't want any competition.
The whole aid for Africa grift is pretty much dead in the public consciousness now.

They don't have to push it anymore because the people who started donating back then are still donating right now, plus with the internet they just target the gullible idiots who fall for this, they wont waste adsense money on you. They got rich kids PAYING to go to the shittiest shitholes in africa and build a half-assed school out of bricks, they (the africans) then tear down the school so another group of rich trustafarians can do it again. Local governments there have learned that if they keep their people on the brink of starvation and ignorant they not only avoid most rebellions but get even more free money from rich countries for food and education..........that goes straight to the local politicians' swiss bank accounts.

While not the largest or most impactful, maybe the thing I've seen most quickly memory holed were the jewish tunnels under NYC.

It was in the news for maybe 4 days at the absolute most. We literally saw a Jewish man crawl out of a street grate, there was a huge brawl between cops and jews, bloody mattresses and high-chairs taken from the darkness, and all of this on video. No one could even deny what was happening since there was so much evidence, so instead it went into the memory hole. Then they filled it with concrete to stop anyone from even potentially seeing what was going on.

I want to know what the hell was in there.

The "gamers are losers" psyop. It used to be pushed heavily back then but now not as much. I suspect some elite became a gamer and thus lowered the psyop accordingly. More amusing to think about that way. Humans are self centered at heart.

All that happened was that games became increasingly mass market and therefore big business got involved. Gamer became (and is) another mass market demographic to sell stuff to, and therefore gaming became "cool."

"Save the masks for the healthcare heros" (March 2020)
-> (not even 2 weeks later) -> WEAR. A. MASK. OVER THE NOSE. SAVE LIVES

the most schizophrenic 180 by the political and media establishment. it seems everything that happened in 2020 and 2021 was memoryholed. Sometimes in conversation with people IRL I will bring things up from back then and they don't even know what I'm talking about. Some truly fucked up shit.
Here's what really gets me about this kind of shit:

THEM: "Can you prove that happened?

ME: "Uhhh, how?"

THEM: "Well, find an article mentioning it."

Variant A
ME: "Well, here's this New York Times article..."

THEM: "Okay so you found one newspaper and read one article and that made you think something was a massive event!"

ME: "No, I was there and I lived through it."

THEM: "Then how come I don't remember it?"

Variant B
ME: "Actually yeah I have a bunch of articles." [sources invariably things I found here on KF because we actually archive shit]

THEM: "Those are conspiracy theorists, they don't count."

ME: "So on this partisan issue you're only going to listen to sources on the side we claim is trying to pretend it didn't happen? Isn't that rather like watching a criminal trial and saying you're only going to believe statements if they come directly from the defendant?"

Basically
ME: "So what I'm getting is it's only valid if its not from people you consider 'conspiracy theorists,' which of course its gonna be because these disagreements are along ideological grounds and your entire mindset is trained to see anyone who isn't on your side as being wrong, biased, and deceptive."

THEM: "Pretty much."

ME: "And even if it does come from a source you like, if its not something you want to believe, you're going to pull some 'well it was just a mistake' or some 'small sample size' bullshit to pretend only a small amount of people experienced something?"

THEM: "Well yeah. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!"

The next section is kinda self-indulgent and distracts from the main point so I'm putting it behind a spoilermark.
THEM: "It's just like when you said you saw a UFO yesterday!"

ME: [Crosses arms smugly, knowing full well I actually did mention seeing a UFO] "Oh, did I really say that?"

THEM: "I remember it clearly!"

ME: "But your memory isn't reliable. Can you cite a source showing I said that?"

THEM: "Dude, Kevin heard you."

ME: "But you can't trust Kevin! He believes in UFOs!" [Kevin actually does]

THEM: "But what about Bob? He was there too."

ME: "Nope, I'm not gonna believe it unless you can find 100 people who say they heard me say that."

THEM: "But there weren't 100 people there yesterday!"

ME: "Sounds like a sample size issue!"

It doesn't have to be this exact argument--just any time they slip up and say something that gives you an opportunity to give them a taste of their own medicine.

The covid era still makes me mad for how it turned people into psychotic retards. Back then you could get away with the dumbest shit if it was to convince people how bad coronavirus was. I remember how some newspapers would talk about a new delmicron varient which was like a combination of delta and omicron varients, as if it were a griffon or some shit. They later said the same shit with the flu and called it, and I'm not making that shit up, flurona, as if to taunt all the people who said it was just the flu. And then there's all the various bullshit they spread and never bothered to correct like bodies being cremated in pizzarias, mass graves in new York, etc. Meanwhile just saying that for most people who had a functioning immune system covid is basically just a slightly stronger flu you can lie through without any big issues would get you kicked out of polite company and banned off of social media. Something was also very fishy to me when they all casually admitted it came out of a lab in China, probably to make it sound even more serious.

They might not be psyops per say, but people don't hate journo scum enough for harassing children for perceived racism. The two kids smirking at some native American and another one who was accused of having blackface come to mind but I'm sure there are more. Casual reminder that the mainstream media has ruinned more children's lives than kf ever did.

In the 90's

"We need to stop using wood because a football-field sized part of the amazon is being felled every day"
Fast forward 10, 20 and 30 years and we're using more wood than ever and the amazon is fine.

"The great barrier reef has died because of climate change." Then it grew back, as most people said it would, even greater, barrierer and reefier than before. Not a mention or retraction.

"There's a hole in the Ozone layer that will kill everyone if we don't ban X product" - retardation at its highest.

In the 2000s

"don't post personal information on the internet, don't meet strangers from the internet, don't believe anything you read on the internet". We know how that went.

"Gay marriage will lead to degeneracy in the streets and the normalisation of pedophillia" - sensible people
"You're just a bigot, homophobe, gay marriage won't lead to that" - faggots.
We all know how that went.

The faces on mars and the pyramids on mars. The face was plastered all over the news because it's most likely paradolia. The pyramids however? Totally ignored.

"There is no life on mars. There is no water on mars. It is impossible" - 20 years later they found both water, methane and bacteria on mars.

The biggest memoryhole to date hands down is Martin Shkeli. Despite interviews where he talked about the fact that what he was doing was an attempt to undercut Pfizer, media smeared his name into the dirt so hard they were able to change the public perspective of the narrative overnight. He fucked with pharmaceuticals and lost.
nah, he was guilty, he sometimes slips up on his daily day long streams.
he is now building his own financial data service

The whole aid for Africa grift is pretty much dead in the public consciousness now.
Yeh. I remember being a child and handing over my lunch money for the starving africans multiple times.

It is weird to consider in retrospect, that I bankrupted and starved myself, for "starving Africans" at such a young age, entirely encouraged by my public school teachers as a social good to pat each other on the back about.

Ice bucket challenge. Something humiliating and potentially dangerous for anyone with a heart condition. The way it was pushed in workplaces I found very odd. I refused to do it and was really harangued over it. It become a symbol of compliance somehow. Before it the Kony2012 stuff, which has already been mentioned, felt similar. It would be really interesting to go back and look at the language that was used to push both these events - I will vet you’d find similar patterns to Covid (same phrasing used across multiple outlets etc.)
