Forgotten / Memory-holed Psyops - What things do you believe were pushed heavily into public consciousness only to be forgotten that they were pushed at all?

All of the Isis videos that were getting pumped out around 2014-2017. Showing just enough to get you curious on main stream news and then fully HD and uncensored online sites like barenakedislam come to mind. The main stream news in the same breath they talk about fresh execution videos also start calling people islamophobic for not wanting syrian refugees etc. They created the christchurch attack just as much if not more than any online community did. Additionally the majority view of Muslims in America since September 11th is like a big psyop. There are things that a practicing Muslim is not supposed to do and those that call themselves Muslim, but do those things fall out of what I am talking about and deserve any ridicule, but should be ridiculed for what they are doing wrong and not that religion.

I don't think they were intending to make christchurch incident or similar, but its hard to see how they wouldn't expect that outcome. Watching a (((jordinian))) man be burned alive in a cage in HD does not make me want more immigrants from anywhere in my country. It did seem like the execution propaganda stopped and slowed when unintended organic counter events began.

They also did a soft launch ebola scare out of Africa around this time.

I believe that the Westboro Baptist Church was a Psyop meant to strawman opposition to LGBT shit.

They are a tiny church started in the 1950s no different from a dozen other similar evangelical nutcases around the rural USA. They have literally nothing unusual about them, until the 1990s when the pastor gets into some drama by calling gays degenerate. The pastor is then the target of a goddamn gay terror attack where they pipebomb his mailbox, so the pastor goes harder on gay bashing and they do a few local protests against it.

At the end of the 1990s one of these protests is covered on CNN, bringing the eyed of a lot of people who would never see such a thing to them. Shortly after they and start getting international attention despite their protests being like half a dozen retards with over the top placards. As the 2000s roll around they quickly make sure to alienate pretty much the entire traditional marriage and social conservative public by being rabidly anti-military to ensure so one would try and join their protest or side with them.

Then they spend over a decade talking about how fags need to burn in hell, fag marriage is wrong, fuck fags. Every time they make a protest it for some reason is national and international news, and people show up to conterprotest always and it makes for a media circus.

Then around 2014 when the issue is looking like it will be won by the fags they slowly start going away, and in 2015 when SCOTUS passes that Obergefel or whatever they barely even protest. And then by 2016 they are just fucking gone, their last ever protest apparently meant to take place celebrating the Orlando Mass Shooting because a bunch of faggots were shot there but it was canceled (interestingly they were gonna protest, but then it came out it was a islamic attack not a homophobic one and they dropped it).

And now they are gone, back to being a tiny ass church.
Yep. And I still hear dipshits talk about it to this day as if a literal small-c, as in one building, church in a 300 million people, continent-spanning empire is of anything other than local interest.

The Covid thing has been really bugging me for about 2-3 years at this point. I’m one of those people who usually just gets sick if someone within 500m of me sneezes. I was working in healthcare at the time, in ICUs no less (though not directly with COVID patients). In the first 2 years of the “pandemic” I lived in the US, traveled to central EU and went back to to live in my own country, I’ve looked after patients actively shedding Covid, been on planes/trains/rideshares/concerts/malls on 3 continents and to this day I have never tested positive even once. I have not actively masked in any capacity since leaving healthcare in 2021.

Every hospital I visited as a consultant was reusing their masks and getting them “sterilised” in brown paper bags once a week. I saw a huge uptick in catastrophic strokes once the vaccine was released - I worked in organ donation so we got those referrals. They almost always had the vaccine within 30 days prior but it was not talked about outloud. This was before the young boys started dropping dead in the middle of soccer fields.

For a long while I considered it was either a test to lower the homeless/drug addict and elderly populations and it got out of hand or it was all a population control experiment - lock down, masking (to test population surveillance), etc.

The fact that everywhere dropped working from home, testing negative, mandatory vaccines real fucking quick was super telling.

Because celebrating big wins makes the professional activists uncomfortable.

No one talk about the win of Medecine against NTDs (neglected tropical diseases, in South Asia, Africa and South America). It was (and still is) an international campain which already eradicated in multiple countries Dracunculiasis, Lymphatic filariasis, Trachoma or Onchocerciasis. We are not talking about few cases, it was rampant with a massive death count.
Sure there is a lot to work to do yet with numerous illnesses to exterminate but it's still a big victory of Men Working Together against Pain & Suffering and the reason we need to keep going.

Adding to this, go look up the conservation status of famously endangered animals you learned about as a child. I was pleasantly surprised to see that every single one of them I could think of is now merely threatened or even least concern. Does anyone talk about this? Asking rhetorically of course.

The irony is that people would support these programs, initiatives and organizations more if the success stories actually got coverage.

More than anything I'm a jaded environmentalist. All I need to know about climate change is that Florida will be underwater by 1999 (fun fact: the earliest journalistic coverage I could find of Florida's impending demise dates to the 1930s and claims it will be underwater in the 1940s, but I stupidly didn't bookmark it five years ago; it's definitely still out there) and we passed the point of no return 10 times a year for the past two decades, but a tax will fix it. I'd still prefer not to live in a polluted shithole with no wildlife, but fuck the green initiatives beyond not shitting where we eat and forestry, conservation, etc.

I have a pet theory that collectivism doesn't actually work when you provide people with success stories, it only works if people feel desperate and cornered. More people might support it but then they wouldn't be under someone's thumb.

I've always taken your pet theory to be a basic fact of life. It tracks historically and in the present. Adversity breeds progress, or whatever.

But it's all stick, no carrot these days. That's the big difference, and I attribute it to malice, personally. Anyone invoking Hanlon's razor should be viewed with suspicion, especially in defence of his own side.

Hanlon's razor is outright evil.

Almost always attribute to malice what could be attributed to stupidity because malice requires much less energy than stupidity

Hanlon's razor is outright evil.
It really is. I'll give people a pass when they're just innocently ascribing other peoples' behaviour to incompetence but when people are defending their own conduct (or their own group's conduct) by invoking it in so many words, nah I see what you're doing.

I don't know what's been worse for society: the proliferation of fallacy speak, or the proliferation of therapy speak. People should be less afraid of being dumb.

It was also an excuse to test the mRNA vaccine on soldiers deployed there under the guise of 'anthrax' vaccine. They tested a similar vaccine in GW1 and called it 'Gulf war syndrome' later saying it was depleted uranium rounds that caused the illness...which is absolute bollocks because those symptoms only affected soldiers and no-one else ever again. DU is being used in Ukraine and how many people are suffering Gulf War Syndrome? The vax test wasn't succesful.

Oh yeah, the Anthrax Attacks of 2001 and 2002 were also memoryholed to shit.

They were as much of a driving force behind the pushing of the PATRIOT Act as 9/11, if not more so since these were targeting politicians and media people directly.

Originally the main suspect was a Egyptian born islamic doctor called Ayaad Assaad. This only lasted like two weeks though, as it quickly became clear Assaad had not only a alibi but also the letter didn't match his handwriting and his location over the months before the incident made it impossible. Everyone agreed it he was being setup.

The reason this doctor was suspected was simple: the signature of the very first anthrax letters were claiming to be his, and he worked on the laboratory where the anthrax spores were found to have originated.

Oh did I mention that the Anthrax was literally from the stockpile of the United States Biological Defense Program at Fort Dertrick?

Journalist Ron Unz did a good writeup on the entire shitshow, and the take away is that the real culprit was being either ignored by the FBI or protected by the higher ups. The man who was eventually accused was another doctor of the Biological Defense Program but he never confessed, the timeline of the sending of the letters didn't match with his known locations, and he eventually committed suicide and the FBI used that to close the case.

Not sure what you're talking about. The issue was usually presented as damaging to forests and deterioration of stone, concrete, and metal. Also was presented as an issue elsewhere in North America and in Europe.
I stopped believing all the environmental shit and then I saw India
* Gray thick smog
* Rivers covered in a layer of plastic
* Corpses floating down the big river
* Local nature suffering

Look how:
* Plastic pollution renders water unlivable
* Acid rain turned a lush jungle to desert
* Toxic fumes make people genetically weak, infertile and retarded

I don't believe it will be irreversible, but living like Indians just disgusts me and if gay environmental bs is the only way around it, then fuck it, so be it!

Also a lowkey psyop is how "we" hunt rhinos/elephants to extinction. How "we" pollute oceans with plastic... No "WE" don't polute anything. Asians polute the world. Africans hunt endangered species to extinction. White people don't do that shit. It's niggers and gooks/pajeets/shitskins!

Nigger you talking outta your ass! The coral reef is 80% dead. Scientists blame global warming but I'm pretty sure it's overfishing or thirdies dumping shit into the sea.
It's not dead and the hilarious cause of it isn't global warming or over fishing, it's under fishing and environmental protection of starfish, which eat coral like a fatty eating maccy's.

That's what i said you fucking moron. Starfish population have gone mental because of UNDERFISHING of star fish.

Are you a nigger? Because you're as dumb as one.
How would you fish starfish? It lives on the bottom of the ocean and tangles itself in coral.

Why would you fish it? It's inedible and useless.

Jesus fucking christ you're more retarded than the people posting in the Russian Non-Military Operation thread lol.

Food doesn't come from supermarket citytard. Touch grass.
