@The Jumping Dwarf: I'm not even sure Billy West has a nephew. I actually managed to do some research - I found a document about his brother, but nothing said he had children. (He does have two brothers, though, and it could be that none of them are in the registry.)

I know he's youngest brother died about 10 years ago I think. I don't know if it's a third bother or the two like you said.

@Quijibo69: I honestly couldn't tell you. I could only find one of his brothers. He only has two, anyhow.

Now, here's my question... Child molestation is a fairly serious thing, the kind of thing that'd ruin someone's career if it was ever found out. You mentioned that about '96-'97, they did something legally about it. It would have been public record that he molested his nephew, yet he continued to get roles. Why is this?

Vaguely related, but didn't the guy who ran that infamous "Kony 2012" campaign turn out to be some sort of sexual deviant, or am I misremembering?

I think it was something to keep his nephew quiet.

@Quijibo69: Is that the legal thing? Who did it, Billy or his family?

You're kind of asking me to buy that Billy West - a voice actor, who is in a profession that gives 1/10th of the respect that normal actors do - had enough influence to suppress this.

@Quijibo69: I still don't buy it.

None of the details are adding up here. The legal thing they did about it was try and keep his nephew quiet - but I have no idea how this could have happened, or even how they could suppress something like this, especially not considering what I know about his background.

Even if it is half-and-half, as I said, voice actors do not have even a tenth of the respect that actors do. He'd have been convicted and jailed.

Jill Scott seems pretty lolcowy in a SJW sense, given what I read about her when I would go onto ONTD religiously. She once said that she didn't think highly of interracial relationships, particularly with black men and white women. Her reasoning was because white women were put on pedestals in Antebellum society during America's slave owning days while black women were (obviously) treated like slaves. While she isn't totally wrong here, she seems to ignore that pretty much all women were treated like shit back then. Sure some women were treated better than others but I don't anyone female was regarded as equally as men during that portion of our history. Plus, the whole "southern belle" trope she's applying to white women was actually only a small fraction of a rather wide demographic. So her argument doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

While you might be able to chalk this up to admitting her own bigotry, she recently went on a twitter rant saying that the whole Bill Cosby fiasco of last year was some media conspiracy to ruin his great legacy. So you can say that she has a few screws loose.

Simultaneously SJW and racist, there's a winner for you.

This will make listening to "Golden" more awkward.

He had a psychotic breakdown and jacked off right in the middle of a street, I think.

I was watching an Oprah "where are they now" show, and turns out way before Invisible Children and Kony, he won a contest Oprah was doing, I think it was a dream wedding contest? I can't find the clip right now D: I watched this show almost a month ago so I can't remember details.

Dennis miller used to be funny back in the 80s and the 90s, but then 9/11 scared him stupid, and I don't even know if you could call him famous anymore. He didn't even show up for the SNL reunion earlier this year.

Re: Real World people.

Judd Winwick from San Francisco 20 years ago is a famous cartoonist, he also married Pam from the show who is still a doctor. I don't see anybody else from the old days in the media.

He went full retard. Then there was that disastrous stint with NFL. I think that pretty much finished him off.

Too bad. He was funny on his own show, back when he actually, I dunno, had a sense of humor.

Eddie Murphy nowadays. Funny how he cracked jokes about gays then hired a trans hooker.

Did you see the story on twitter where Norm said they had a skit or presentation for Eddie, and he wouldn't do it?
I hadn't, though I've heard he won't have anything to do with SNL. That may have changed. Supposedly, the reason was a joke Spade did about a falling star. If there's a link I'll definitely check it out as I'm a sort of SNL scholar (I've even seen the last part of the 1980 season where Rocket says fuck).

Gary Busey, but his craziness is probably caused by a head injury back in the 80s. He's also pretty self-aware of his insanity, and is kind of amusing.

Last summer when I was visiting Seattle with my family, and while hanging out in the hotel family, we watched a couple of episodes of Wife Swap and one of them had him in it. It was a fucking riot. The best part was him and his fiancee going on how they had have 32 past lives together and that they were the parents of Emperor Constantine. Busey is old school in terms of lolcows.
