Gotta socialize tomorrow... anyone got a place where I can watch the full race later?

Did you guys notice that at the start, the broadcast showed a bunch of drivers like Verstappen, Hamilton, Russel, Perez and so on and it showed current WDC-points for all drivers... except Hambone. :story:

Ferrari will find a way to make sure, the Master 🅱️lan will go down smoothly.
This site is good, but I can't say how quick it will show up. http://burningwhee1s.blogspot.com/

When I miss anything, I always download a torrent from Rutracker. They are pretty quick to put stuff up. Some uploaded DEU language stuff from this weekend too.

Hey one thing I meant to say. Is David Croft forgetful, or does he booze it up in the box?

Remember at start of Q3 he trumpeted about Latifi when he was leaving the pits? Later on after Lat pitted at the end of that first lap, and the board clearly showed a "P" by his name, Croft said something like everything has gone/come out to do a lap, except for Latifi. There are times I do think they prob drink in that booth or something with all the inanity and mistakes they make.

I want Ferrari to close the gap and make this season contested again.

Well yes and no. I definitely want a close championship but I lalo want vestappen stood on that top step grinning down at the impotently booing crowd.

Remember no one hates british sports fans as much as other brits.

Speaking of that, did anyone catch the commentary team cover up the cheering from the stands when Max spun?

'They're cheering for the recovery', sure mate and I'm The Queen.

Zhou's having a stronger season than his results would suggest. I think he's got lasting potential. A tad surprised Russell only snagged 8th, though he'll probably end up 5th somehow tomorrow all the same.
The Skye commentary cope was rather hilarious, when one of those guys went on about Hamilton turning around this season and entering the battle for the WDC :story:
If any Merc has a chance at being in the WDC battle, it ain't Lew. George is in 4th there, 64 down from Max. If Ferrari keep missing points due to reliability, who knows what may happen.

If anyone wants to have a good laugh oin how not to drive on a tight street circuit here is the full race of the DTM on the Norisring or as I call it Destruction Derby with expensive car

Video begins at the start 17:35 should it not work

Liam Lawson confirmed as red bull reserve driver after Vips' pewdiepie moment.

Definitely a good thing because Lawson is a star of the future for certain.

Nah, Crofty's just a retard. Not quite Kravitz-tier pants shitting retard, but not far off.

Even if the race ends up being good, the commentary is going to be even more insufferable than usual, so I think I'll skip watching the race and wait for my fellow Farmers to give their post-race analyses.

The F2 race was pretty spicy action for a bit. Recommend giving it a watch.

DTM, yeah I have been having hard time finding the races, but knew they were at that nutty track this weekend.

Also, this bottleneck to get into F1 is going to be a real problem. There are at least half a dozen guys who deserve a shot yet only 1, maybe 2 will get a seat. Here is the latest young driver who looks like he will be gunning to be in F1 next year:

So with Piastri trying to get in too, and Pourchaire-another name off top of my head who is in line, Lawson etc. there is going to be some disappointed drivers unless some current guys retire/get the boot in the next 2-3 years. They really need 12 teams just due to the number of drivers who really should be in F1 or given a shot. That reminds me, I read a headline/blurb somewhere within last week about Spa potentially holding a non-championship rookie race in F1 cars. Anyone catch that?

Reminder too Indycar race tomorrow. They are at mid-Ohio. Its the 9th race of the season. And the guy who got pole was the 9th different driver to do so. No repeat pole-winners thus far. Crazy man, if F1 had that variety I think we'd all be on cloud 9 man.

That sounds kinda awesome.

Edit:
Turns out Schumacher's car was missing a part on the left front suspension, that changed the angle of the corresponding wheel and caused the steering to be off-centre by a few degrees.
After FP3 the team changed a few things about the setup and a mechanic forgot to put in a spacer-disc, which caused the issue.

Edit 2:
Nothing to see here, just a Halo saving another driver from having a very, very bad day.

It is a problem and I'll be pissed if Drugovich gets a drive ahead of Piastri, Porchaire, and Lawson. He's good but not as good as those, I know money has always been a factor on F1 but I hate to see these future greats passed over for just good with a big bank account.

Oh what fresh hell is this Anthem? Why the fuck has everywhere caught Americanism with letting morons fuck up their anthems?

It's amazing how much sky F1 sucks off the british crowd but doesn't even mention the crowd in every other nation, seems a bit xenophobic to me.

Absolutely agree and concur.

That's the way of the world sadly, money rules all and if you got bags of it,. you can do anything without impunity and get whatever you want.

I tried to explain to people about the *serious* disparity with the distribution in wealth and how those who have it, really control the narrative. As an example, I said if someone wanted to go to a slum or ghetto and offered some hoe or crackhead $5million to rape their kid, a significant portion of people would do it. Especially moreso now with the current times and whatever the fuck is really going on with the financial situation in the world that the common everyday man, woman and family face. But the elite, no affect on them whatsoever.

Anyway, not the place to pontificate or sperg, but with all the teams and drivers in just F2 and F3 (52 currently) the handful who will stand out over the next few years just aren't going to get to F1 as they probably deserve. I can see Indycar booming more as a lot of them will go there when they can't get in to F1 on merit and performance because some lesser driver who has the coin in pocket got a seat instead of them.

On topic, will rain fall during the race? Are we in for a burner or a drag? I am, as usual, cautiously optimistic that it will be an enjoyable 90 minutes ahead. Fingers crossed.
