Well that wasn't a great start to the season, no real incidents, no retirements and already it's Max wins lol.

Red Bull power trains hired a lot of their engine staff. Plus their muh diversity push saw a lot of people hired based entirely on skin colour, in an era when cost cap limits factory headcounts (only top 5 paid are exempted from the cap) hiring a load of tokens doesn't help. How did Mercedes ever dominate for so long? Did they lose someone significant from their tech department?
These are the fastest lap each driver did during the grand prix, Leclerc's fastest puts him 2nd.To be fair here Verstappen had fresh softs while Leclerc had fresh hards.
Fair point. Would be interesting how fast Leclerc or Sainz could have gotten on fresh softs at the end. Still Verstappen seems to be on track for his next title unless the Horner affair causes internal chaosThese are the fastest lap each driver did during the grand prix, Leclerc's fastest puts him 2nd.
Perez's fastest lap being 1.75 slower than Max's is also pretty significant.
Devil magic? I think K Mag made very few mistakes this race and VCARB slowed themselves with infighting. How does a team with all the problems of Haas, have a car finish ahead of both the RBVCA's?
It’ll just filter DTS casuals. This isn’t that bad in terms of dominance for a sport, at least the rest of the race is interesting and Max isn’t a complete wall in terms of personality. I think there’s something special when it comes to individual dominance in a sport and that it should be appreciated while it lasts.I am loving all the seeth on social media about how the sport is totally definately dead now because Max won. As if dominance eras haven't been a thing as long as the sport has.
I don't even think its DTS casualt, I think it's cultLH who never cared about the sport in the first place, just wanted to watch lewlew winning constantly. It’ll just filter DTS casuals. Partial to a good Adam Driver impression myself.

Haas intentionally tanked Q3 (shocker). I’m ready for Hulk to hold up half the field today.
I do SimRacing from time to time (often being one of the slowest but it's still fun) and we have a few players who also drive in real life. Even the 24 hours of the Nordschleife. So it's not impossible to get far. Heck we had one driver with us who later won titles in his respective series. And some of the SimRacing games are quite realistic and even driving aids won't help you as they actually slow you down on high level settingsI really hope his GT3 team does well once it gets off the ground and his friends get a chance to demonstrate their skills in a real car with an actual budget and competent engineering. Proving that sim racers can transition to real racing would actually make real life racing accessible to more people than any of the diversity programs that Lewis and the browbeaten FIA push.
Maybe racing makes one a better racer than attending the Met gala does… Also, I imagine hanging out with normal people every night instead of millionaires helps to keep the ego in check. Team Redline is not shy at all about making fun at him.
Looks like they do! And thanks for the congrats, but much happier that my Max win by 10+ with FL paid off at 3X. I should have put 10K on that. LOLOLWe're yet to see if RB brings the same advantage in tyre life that they did in the past.
Congrats on the payout.
You may be right to an extent, but I think it’s both after a quick glance on Twitter. More so of it from Lewlew fans however. Also NASCAR fans throwing shots as per usual as if NASCAR isn’t in the worst state it’s ever been. The American media (ESPN) seems to be bitching about it already acting like this will seriously hurt F1 if it goes like this for a few more races (it will). Overall, most of the complaining is just Lewlew dick riders, none of the other constructor fanbases seem all that upset. Maybe F1 needs some old NASCAR style racism to keep such people out of the sport.I don't even think its DTS casualt, I think it's cultLH who never cared about the sport in the first place, just wanted to watch lewlew winning constantly.
This race’s margin of victory is already greater than the fourth largest last year. There’s a chance we could see Max exceed 35 seconds if the upgrades work out.The worying thing is this RBR is a compromise car, they didn't have enough time to finish everything Newey planned so put together what they had for this. They have a massive upgrade coming at Japan (April this year), which is rumoured to be even more of a nopod.

You right the. The dude lives and breathes racing 24/7. When it comes to passion and dedication and the sort of talent and intelligence that gives way to on the track i think him and nando are in a leauge of their own in that regard. Outside of the redbull pr events and Aston tick stock skits(witch Fernando always nails) they both are always racing or doing something involving racing. It's really easy to see why as time goes on those two have shown such admiration for each other. Real recognizes real sorta shit.Max’s secret is AUTISM
Isn't Albon still connected to RB somehow? If so, then the precedent is there and Lawson would be an ideal candidate to slot into Sargeant's seat.I'd be surprised if Logan Sargeant survives the whole season. Whilst it might not be possible because of his RB ties, I would love to see Liam Lawson be given some time this year in the Williams.
As if Max ever had a choice. Jos is living vicariously though him, and definitely gives off helicopter parent vibes. Not as strongly as Lawrence Stroll, though. The dude lives and breathes racing 24/7.
