Hamilton impeding Alonso during practice. In response Alonso slows down and slow claps Hamilton. Lol I love it. I also love that Ferrari paid 100 mil to this totally overrated fraud only for lecrec to make him look pedestrian and even Carlos is finishing ahead of him recentlty.

Go on, tell me now he wasn't always completely overrated who lucked into a Mercedes seat with team mates who apart from nico had any ability whatsoever.

Hamilton for me will be a solid driver who has almost always in his career had championship contender cars. Certainly he isn't Schumacher who joined Benneton when they still were shaky and joined Ferrari when they were still sort of jokes.

I love though that Sainz got a podium in a midfield car before Hambone got one in a Ferrari.

Well Sky have already called it for Norris. Pack it up, see you for the guaranteed norris win during the build up tomorrow so no need to watch the race either.

Oh and Crofty reminding everyone Russell is still in the running... yeah nah. Mathematically maybe but reality, no.

Someone tell Karun and Crofty that 0.01 is a hundreth not a tenth.

Flipped to the timing chart broadcast with karun and croft commentary. Wasn't 10 seconds and regretted it.

"Piastri is in so much trouble", "he's a tenth down on Lando" (it wasn't live timing in s1 he was ahead), "he's so far off of Norris's pace".

Not to mention unlike Hamilton Sainz who switched teams is now actually dominating Albon. And Hamilton gets a clap on the back when he is below 2 tenths behind Lecl, erc I mean sure, a 7 time champion getting clapped repeatedly sounds like a good investment. If Hamilton can't cope with next years technical ruleset he will probably loose even harder

Either Piastri is choking due to pressure, or the team is boycotting him (or both). Let's hope for a signature Lando start tomorrow to make things interesting.

Where did the Ferraris get quick from?

What has happened to Piastri? Of course Crofty is celebrating Norris winning the championship because Norris is on Pole.
Theory: it got slightly cooler which helped them. Leclerc was sandbagging hard with only doing one run in Q1 and Q2. Tomorrow will probably be harder as the race is two hours early meaning it will be hotter. The Longruns showed that both would loose the battle with tyre degredation while Norris was just quick anytime. The first corner will be interesting though as we often had clashes there

Well that plus the lift and coast message on lap 2 because the plank is going to die otherwise.
Or the brakes. And Hamilton had issues late in the race in Singapore and Austin. Is he pushing the limits too much or just unlucky? I mean in Singapore both Ferrari's had break issues, Leclerc just managed them better and did not short cutted every corner on the last lap

red bulls car just isnt well set up for the high speed chicanes, max will have a tough time tomorrow. mclarens resistance to tyre wear will probably give them a massive advantage at least for norris who isnt about to become a victim of sabotage lol

They really struggled with tyre temperature in Austin and it is going to be even worse here with the thinner air providing less cooling. I think a lot of their tyre advantage has largely been nullified by other teams' upgrades.

piastri finishing 3rd in the championship is a very real possibility if this run of form continues. was surprised to see ferrari qualify well but that's typical of them - show a sign of life to give people hope only to bring it home 5th and 8th tomorrow. can't wait.

It's sus how Piastri who has been the more resilient and consistent McLaren is suddenly so slow.
Can the team fuck with engine modes remotely?

It's looking good for Norris, who has a great buffer between him and Max and Oscar. But that's a very long straight until turn 1.

Still hopeful for a Max WDC.
