But really, I just claim anything that's free and archive it if it's shit. Even shitty items might have some ironic entertainment value later.

I do not like Chappell Roan. The only redeeming part of the music pass is Starman.

I thought the animated trailer she got was nice, other than that I don't care. I think her music is fine but I wouldn't call myself a fan.
 
PROTIP: Whenever the free rainbow/pride items are in the shop, you can gift any zero V-Buck items to anyone on your friend list, with the only restriction being a limit of five gifts every 24 hours.

Not suggesting anyone should misuse it, but I will say it's funny to send them to my friends and watch them get annoyed about having those items permanently tied to their account.
 
Since most of you don't play creative maps, creators now have the option to have in game v-buck purchases.

It's as bad as you think it is, and I really feel bad because I know some poor kid is going to be swindled out of his Birthday V-Bucks to buy some shitty-pass just so he can collect brainrot quicker.

Yeah but then I don't have to reposition them to where the husks are, right? Can just put them in a 3x1 line on top of the atlas or w/e and they'll cover all sides

Putting snipers right on the objective generally works. You and your traps should pull your weight though, the defenders should just be backup.
 
I'm so mati rn cause some guns and items will not render. It's weird that I didn't have this issue early in the season, but somewhere around the time the South Park drop suddenly I've had this problem. I JUST WANNA PLAY MY IP CROSSOVER BATTLE ROYALE SLOP FFS!
 
I think I'm pretty much done with this season at this point; every match is crammed full of sweats, even in Blitz I can't even get a single victory consistently because everyone is bunny-hopping or spamming some crap. I think that, once I get the last reward from the bonus track, I'm just going to call it. Be back next season.

I think what really cemented the feeling of this season is them time gating story quests and then doing the event as a "mini event" that they hyped up only for me to after having everything set up it not going off at the time it was supposed to and then me getting kileld by a double team of sweat camper scumfucks right as it started loading in despite me being in a bush and it being solos. I don't know if they were just bots with good aim or what but they went from attacking each other to just rushing me while I was in cover and then after I fought one off the other ganked me.


All that fucking hype for them finally getting aroudn to continuing the seven plot that's been on hold for no apparent fucking reason for years and it's this shit.

Oh also locking the battle pass rewards to modes I never play and having quests for a mode they took away MID SEAZSON is another fun pain!
 
I think I'm just waiting for the next OG Season at this point; as I said a while back, I've been wanting to grab a decent dragon (or maybe a minotaur) skin for some builds I had in mind, and a proper Hybrid remix is supposed to be releasing at the end of this month. Other than that... I really don't entirely care about this game at this point, gameplay's so full of sweats you can't even really play anymore, story is pretty much hit-or-miss, and even the cosmetics are pretty dull.

This ain't realistic. None of the fortnite sweats I've seen bunny hop this isn't the same shit as funny half life deathmatch ones. This is a very specific kind of person that gives a fuck about nothing but statistical "wins" and will pull actually garbage scumbaggery to achieve it be it some sort of hacked client or some other shit like making it so only their method becomes the one allowed. Makes it even funnier when I kill them.

If there's a one time only happening that's telegraphed by the map fucking having big shattered red sky shit and while taking a brief break from what your doing to actually focus on it 5 people try badly rushing you only for one to get lucky and actually kill you in fucking solos right as it's about to happen because it started late WHILE YOU ARE IN COVER yeah there's an issue. Another issue is when the sweats in question do nothing but bitch about the meta online so anything other than spamming build becomes "unviable".

I member when I could grenade the shit out of build spammers and they'd just instantly perish. I remember when you could fuck them up with proximity mines and watch the retards kill themselves because they don't know how to back away from the bombs before they go off. Instead of learning to not put themselves in a walled off easily explode-able enclosure they just bitched till explosives got nerfed into the dirt. I'd understand if the explosives just harmed the better materials less but no it's all of them so dinky wood structures are now made of the same shit as bricks and metal against bullets and explosives. Sucks. Hate it. kill em.

EDIT: Oh god that reminds me they also complain about the fact movement is better in the game now while also attempting to abuse said better movement. I say attempting to because they only really use the slide and maybe mantle but none of the fancier stuff like wall jumps. Few times I've accidentally left it on build mode I've almost always gotten a kill on a build spammer by just wall jumping and mantling up his shit and waiting while he zip zooms around

As whiny as this might sound, I feel like this might be a good opportunity to finally call it quits on the game. I actually do like it still, it's just that Epic keeps doing stupid shit like this; I would still like to go through STW, but I think my general BR experience is done at this point. Better to end my experiences on a (relative) high note than to completely burn myself out, you know?
