I guess some random employee remembered where Fortnite came from. I wonder if physical copies will still skyrocket in price.
 
Still a bit salty that I can't grab Founder's for STW; the V-Bucks would be nice.

Speaking of which, I think I'm stuck on one of the early missions; the 1st Build-Off one. Can't build ramps or the corner pieces where the game is telling me to, and I can't find any decent tutorials for PS5 controllers; might have to do these missions on PC just to progress.

You make those by editing the cone/pyramid piece. It's L1 I think.

They worded it oddly in the blog. Think of it less like "we need to raise prices to pay the bills" than "we need to raise prices to maintain our profit margin."

That said, I'd love a look at their financials. There are some game modes (festival) that have next to no players, but must be pure profit since they put literally no work into it. I'd also love to know how many people are buying the pets.
 
I just want to say, it's heartwarming to see even here on the Farms, a place so many misunderstand and freak out about, a thread about one of my guilty pleasures like Fortnite. Honestly, over the years it's been tiring seeing people shit on it for no reason other than it being popular. Yeah, it's not perfect, and it's absolutely chock-full of goyslop shit like Marvel, but there's also cute skins like Sunspot, you can get free Vbucks if you're a founder, even UGC has gotten better.

In a better world, I'd party up with some of you guys and play STW.

As a Founder myself, I'm always bummed that others don't get the opportunity to get V-bucks for free, as I've always thought spending V-bucks on anything other then cosmetics was a waste.

Redditors always have to act above everyone else, they thrive on that slightest bit of superiority even if it's self manufactured whaling on a what basically is a kids game.

As far as V-buck price raising goes, don't fucking try to spin it other than you're being greedy. Virtual currency costs nothing to make, other then "payment processing fees".
 
BR feels dead in the water. The season started out neat but now it all feels stale.
I can only hope Epic staff all desperately saying "wait to see what we've cooked" means they've done something impressive, and they aren't just really hoping we'll soy out over fucking Bugs Bunny and forgive them for jewing us.

From what I can tell... Epic really is just being greedy, and it's gotten to the point where I just don't want to support them anymore. Damn shame, I do like the game still, I just can't support a company that fucks over its own playerbase like this.

And of course, Redditors have to spin it to try and make themselves look like the superior ones.

That's happened with the past few chapters, really; they start out great, but they get duller and duller as time goes on. Underground and Hunters were FANTASTIC, but all of the seasons afterwards just got more and more boring overall.
