Ironbite - ex-girlfriend stalker and general asshole. Originally from the 'Allspark' forums (along with Oriet and a few other members). Tends to have a love-hate relationship with Queen.

I used to like Ironbite if only for the fact that he was really good at rustling Skyfire's (a Mormon apologist also from all spark) jimmies.
And what happened to the place was my first and best proof that furries trannies and bronies ruin everything they become a part of.

Ironbite was funny for jimmy rustling, until - like Darksydephil - I realized it wasn't an act and he really was that much of a dipshit.

Also, it's genuinely sad to me, in a way - all of the bullshit that ended up killing the forum could've been avoided if they'd have just taken a step back for a moment and stopped arguing about who had the more important problems.

Oh this site. I used to find it fun, but when the GamerGate sperging from both sides just wouldn't stop, I got fed up with them. There were a few threads that the server apparently ate. "Things People Say on the Internet" and "Best of Social Justice," I believe. But I can dig up some surviving posts for you. This one sticks out in particular. It's a long one.

In all honesty, this is probably extremely optimistic of me - but I'm hoping some other ex-members pop out of the woodwork and give their accounts of the place as well. I know there has to be someone out there who kept a few screenshots of Deimos/Hofstadter's Tortoise asking a mod in the IRC how to make bombs, or Ironbite talking about finding his ex girlfriend on a depression forum and hacking her email to see what she'd said about him.

I was a newbie at the time of SugarGate and wasn't involved in that meltdown so I can't speak to it. Needless to say my username there was different from the one I use on KiwiFarms.

I got to the farms when a user who often posted links after discussing some cows, and after lurking for a while I joined. Some time early last year I started checking the FQA forums less and less, and spending more time here on KiwiFarms. I didn't realize it at the time, and really not even until this thread popped up the other day, but I'd left because I couldn't stand what the site was becoming. Many of those left are the crazier members. Of course we were all a motley crew of crazy dysfunctional individuals, but those left are the caustic, hostile kind of crazy.

I remember the last time I checked the site was after the Cologne Sexual Assault incident. Many were commenting about how it was a normal occurrence because the cops in Cologne let it happen or don't care or some shit. They down played it and tried to dismiss migrants as having anything at all to do with it. I realized at that time, that Paragon and a far right troll were the only sane people in the thread. I haven't felt like going back since.

I used to be a semi-regular poster on FQA and for a brief period on it's predecessor. Let's just say I never remember it being this pathetic, but I did find some of them a bit...spastic. Some personalities I remember:

UltimateParagon/UP- Resident Pro-GG sperg and the token Christian. Claims to be recovering from "pornography addiction". Posts latest GG-related topic, and subsequently has every other sperg jump down his throat. Ironbite in particular was fond of doing so, because retarded internet slapfight is a important issue.
Ironchew- Linux sperg, constantly gets in fights with some of the other spergs. If I remember correctly, is in favor of lowering age of consent and treats teacher-student relationships as no big deal.

I don't remember it being this bad either, but then again maybe I just stayed away from the parts of the forum were the insanity happened. I know the site at one point at least had an unwritten rule of refusing to become an echo chamber or hugbox, and thus rarely banned people for disagreeing or even rather overt trolling. The site often had at least one "chew toy" of a troll around.

I haven't found anything like that just yet, and I don't remember anything like that from my time on there (though it's more than likely that it happened after I left, so there's that.)

I'll probably end up finding it later, if another ex-member doesn't swoop in with it.

I don't recall ever seeing a post like that.

Another person of interest might be the user formerly known as SpukiKitty (I can't remember their new name), a 30 something year old woman who is a huge believer in new-age woowoo, karma, pagan stuff, and so on. She made some pretty out there posts in the past, until the time she said they put a curse on some conservative politician. I think it was Todd "legitimate rape" Akin or some other politician who got famous for their big mouth. Even the other pagan members of the board thought she was fucking nuts and people who had previously tried to ignore her nonsense made some bluntly honest comments about the stuff she said. She disappeared for a while and some of the members got a touch concerned. She ended up showing back up later, with a new name (I don't remember if it was a new account or just the old one with a name change), and she said she would try to tone down the crazy, which surprisingly she actually did. The new-age bollocks still shined through on occasion, but she refrained from cursing anyone.

So, who's up for a raid? These guys sound like they could be fun to flame, given how autistic they are with recognizing sarcasm.

As I said above, they're not unused to trolls. Though if you hit a nerve you might get.

For a quick moment of sobriety before I go back to collecting posts and making fun - a lot of these people I considered friends during my time on there. I was mostly in the IRC, so I didn't see almost any of the stuff posted to the forums, but the people I met seemed kind enough - even if the nuttiness came through from time to time.

This experience, digging through old posts and learning these things about people I used to know, it's a strange sensation.

At the very least, I'm able to offer the little bits of my experience for myself and others to laugh about - though it still makes me wonder why this hasn't come up before. I suppose a lot of the ex-members figured that having HRG laugh about FQA behind their backs was enough.

At the very least, here's some Even Then quotes to keep it relevant.

EDIT: I saw you mention Spukikitty and not knowing if she changed her account or not - at the very least, I can tell you that she goes by 'Barbarella' now, and she's still kinda nuts.

They certainly made some money out of it, but the main motivation for inventing crack was that the highly popular practice of freebasing had a bad tendency to set the user on fire along with anything nearby, since using raw ether to extract the base from the salt form of the drug and fire doesn't mix well.

Crack rocks are also much more convenient to package and sell, and crack can be produced in even primitive settings with little more than a flask, cocaine, baking soda, and rubbing alcohol.

It certainly didn't take the CIA to realize it was a lot more convenient than a messy, complicated base extraction that often set the user on fire if they were careless, and considering it was done by people who were high out of their gourds on cocaine, they often were.
