That's the thing that gets me the most. They like to blame their current 'lack of growth' on the fact that Distind separated the forums and the main page. In fact - even though it only comes up rarely, the remaining members love a-logging him because of it.
For a fun bit of recent history - Distind almost handed off the main page late last year. During his search for a prospective new admin, FQA found out, and some members decided to try to appeal to him in an attempt to relink the main page to the forums.

It's all the same holier-than-thou premise, under the flag of non-belief instead of overt belief. It's why (to my knowledge) these communities are dying out. Well, that, and the overlap with TVTropes and Rationalwiki.

That's why people like Queen and Vene make me laugh so goddamn hard. Queen thinks herself a lawyer when her ability to explain her point of view only goes as far as her ability to mock those who hold opposing views, and Vene thinks himself a teacher when he's outright said himself that "Reason is good to have on our side, but it shouldn't be our primary argument."
Also, when it comes to mental conditions - most of the members of the board had some form of depression. Several others had bipolar, some had autism - for as much as I poke at some of the tranny members, some of them do have genuine GID (which doesn't excuse their stupidity but does at least give some validity to them being tranny)
Basically, aside from some members, it was mostly just all the way around.
So, I figured it was time to shake a little dust off of this thread. I'd been away for a while, but now I'm back and can update it a little more regularly (I hope).
So first, I'll go ahead and add a bit to the Rat_of_Steel folder.
Rat_of_Steel was a member known for perving on other members of the forum, and for his polyamorous relationship with The_L (He was the guy who proposed with a forum game and a ring pop.)
And now, for at least the last "major" post I'll probably have until FQA itself inevitably implodes under the weight of its own smugness, I think now is probably the time to go into the last bit of history that's hidden on FQA. It's gonna be a long one. It's also going to be mostly screenshot deprived for reasons that will become evident in the post.
It's finally time to talk about Keiro Dreamwalker.
There aren't too many posts of his to screenshot. Almost his entire existence on the forum has been scrubbed (outside of a few admin things). However, for the short amount of time that he was the admin for the site, he was part of the largest clusterfuck to take place on there - and that's with all of the shit I've mentioned up to now.
Keiro started as a lurker on the board, and lived for a while with a pair of members named Gomer21xx and LadyRenae - who themselves run a podcast of sorts on TGWTG. During this time, Keiro was known to basically skip out on bills and costs for equipment for the 'server hosting company' that he was the CEO for. This eventually led to Keiro leaving Gomer and Renae one day without telling them, leaving the two with all of the debts that Keiro had accrued while living with them.
Keiro was named admin of the site while he was living with them, and most of the members implicitly trusted him for this reason - so Gomer and Renae's complaints mostly went unheard.
Later, a member named Miles would appear, complaining about his home life on the forums. Several others sympathized with him, and Keiro then started a GoFundMe in an attempt to fund a 'rescue attempt' for him. Basically, picking him up after he turned 18 and helping him get his life together. It was a clusterfuck from the beginning.
For over a year, Keiro and other members attempted to plan the rescue, yet they could never come to a decision as to *where* he should go or who would actually pick him up. However, the members sympathized enough with Miles that they eventually raised about $1,000 to fund the rescue attempt. It was then that things got even worse.
Members agreed on where to go and who should pick him up, and everything was set - but then the hour of arrival passed and nothing happened. Keiro was supposed to be along for the ride, but he 'had a massive panic attack on the greyhound to his destination' and was apparently dropped off in the middle of nowhere. The entire plan was wasted.
After that fuckup, Keiro was then forced to take refuge with another member, who - while making a second plan - found out that $500 of the GoFundMe had disappeared, with Keiro being the only person who had access to it. People were pissed.
The member that Keiro was living with was then put in control of the GoFundMe and the rescue, with it eventually taking place another year later.
While Keiro did eventually pay back a small portion of the missing GoFundMe money (as he publicized on the forum by posting every transaction with the personal information edited out), he spent the time after the rescue attempting to turn the rest of the board against Miles and the member who actually enacted the plan - including censorship of any mention of the missing money, censorship of any attempt to contact him, and eventually, the nuking of the entire subforum for discussing the rescue just to hide the evidence of his involvement.
The board still trusted him after these things, of course. He was still close friends with several of the 'popular' members (Read: The mod team).
It wasn't until Keiro threatened a lawlsuit on the other member that the board finally turned against him, leading him to scrub his existence from the board and Distind to take control of the board back from him. Which then led to Distind talking about trannies and the forum shutdown thereof.
I am necroing this on the fact that I just wanted to say that FQA has now been rejoined to the main FSTDT due to a user named shy buying the mainpage. So the forums are back to being called FSTDT but still has the long time users on it.

I'll be adding a poll to ask what people here want to do regarding that. We also have a FSTDT thread, but if the two sites are now one then it would make sense to possible put the two threads together too.
Thanks I am reading through it now. Honestly I am on their forums but have been staying away from them since I spend most of my time here and on Youtube. I recently went back to them and made the mistake of saying that I voted for Trump. I have not realized how SJW they have gotten over the past two years I have been away.
Either way, you staff can figure out what you want to do with these threads. I think now that the forums have merged with the main site there might be potential for new and more lolcows from there.

Ok, some powerleveling here but I am a moderator on that site (some moderator, I'm barely on there) and I cannot, and I mean cannot, stand The_Queen. She comes across as overly pretentious and arrogant and often makes fun of those that disagree with her. She is also just plain rude too. Personally, I think she and Ironbite violate the rules a lot and should be dealt with but the other old time members would have a fit if that happens. Just, she makes my skin crawl for some reason. Sorry if I seem to be a-logging, I don't mean to.
Ultimate Paragon and Lana Verse seem to be the same person, at least that is what everyone thinks. There is a bunch of shit on UP but this is how SJW the site has become. Just a few years ago we used to have decent conversations before Distind left and now it's just a skeleton site full of exceptional individuals.

She does. BTW, they are aware of this thread. I have not linked to this thread from there but they found it under a thread I started about how scientists found a possibly hominid fossil in Europe and instead of finding fascinating they say that it seems to be a right wing thing. Then one of them out of the blue talks about this thread and found what I said earlier on about them being a bunch of SJWs and that it questioned what I said in their Donald Trump thread. They say that I am the type of person that would get mocked on here.
