Interestingly, he didn't break the law. Pennsylvania has a Close-in-Age Exemption that requires the age gap to be 4 or more years for someone having sex with a 15 year old to be illegal. He is 18, so the sex wasn't illegal.

Now, one could argue that a psychiatrically disturbed 15 year old isn't capable of giving proper consent, but that is something that would have to actually be adjudicated.

Note that I am only looking at this from a pure legal aspect, this it not intended to be a commentary on the morality or ethics of the situation (which I personally think is completely repugnant).
