Both Saturn and Jupiter emit very distinct sound frequencies that humans can't normally hear. If these frequencies are translated into a frequency that can actually be heard, they're absolutely fucking terrifying.

One of the exhibits at the 1893 World's Fair was a life size sculpture of Lady Godiva on her horse made out of butter.

The World's Fair also was the debut of shredded wheat cereal, Juicy Fruit gum, and Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

The average dollar amount of a bank robbery in the current century is barely over $7500. Almost 80% of bank robbers are caught within 5 days of the robbery

You're much more likely to die from slicing a major artery than losing a limb. The reason for this is that whenever one of your limbs become severed, your body goes into shock and the flow of blood to the remainder of the lost limb is slowed down significantly which greatly reduces the risk of bleeding out, while having a major artery split open simply doesn't cause your brain to register that it's in very grave danger so it attempts to heal the wound as it normally would any other cut, which sadly isn't enough to stop the blood from flowing out of the wound in time.

As someone who greatly fears death by exsanguination, this knowledge has only served to make my anxieties on the subject even more debilitating.

Most Toilets in SE Asia have a gun attachment that you use to rinse yourself after a shit. The water pressure varies GREATLY in places, often with hilarious results if the user doesn’t test the gun first/turn on a faucet if the pressure is too high.
