Funimation Audio Leaks - Sacred Ointment memes for degenerate teens

Have any of the VAs involved in this actually responded yet? I checked Sabat and Sean's twitter and couldn't find anything.

Funimation is on media blackout over it.

I don't know if anyone has reached out to Toei for a comment. If I was a Vic friendly journalist, I sure as hell would. Hell, Nick could, and could record the call to stream it. Or any of the ISWV Youtubers could. They're all Journalists, that gives them the ability to do stuff like that. Failing that, sites like Bounding Into Comics or Bleeding Fool could.

The VAs have mostly gone protected mode.

I imagine that Funimation has flat out told them to shut. the. fuck. up. -- a communication that, if it reached Ty Beard, would be very helpful in proving that yes, Funimation DOES have control over their VA's social media after all. Which helps prove they're employees, btw.

(A pro Vic VA working for Funimation could ask for "advice" on what to do if asked for comment, and Funimation would likely tell them to not talk about it. Same thing.)

I expect one of these idiots to spaz out on fans soon about it. They literally cannot shut the fuck up.

I think what is more likely to happen is text messages or maybe some office communication will float around, and Nick's mole will give him another leak.
I know thats more likely, but an asshole can dream...
Though I will never be upset by more mole leaks if we can get them. Funi might be going into full lockdown after this.

It's on IGN (Archive)

Article is pretty info related and not biased. They tried to contact funi and got the typical "no comment."
I'm honestly sort of shocked at how effective Nick and his autismo army are. Last night when I heard all the clips on the show, and then heard Nick say that he wanted Funimation trending in the top 3 on twitter, I thought there was no way that would happen, that it would mostly blow over, and that maybe we would get a few funny remixes or animations out of it, and that was it.

Because it isn't just a bunch of 4chan autists listening in or paying attention. Real people with real business interests are in that audience and they have plenty of likeminded, but more normie friends worried about their jobs/businesses/families etc. as this poundmetoo/cancel culture/SJW/Leftist bullshit impacts them more daily. And they arent just in it for the laughs. They are in it for survival. So word gets around when something happens that could impact that. Especially when it ends up looking like a win for sanity.

I had the exact same reaction last night. I have been gaining respect for Nick's ability to fight this PR battle. It is clear he is not just some drunken guy doing the standard making fun of cancel/outrage culture.

He is meticulously gathering, verifying, hyping, and then releasing information to have the absolute maximum impact.

I remember months ago one of his streams where he went off on a digression about they mindset of lawyers and just how amoral(not immoral) they are with an unflinching drive to win their side of an argument.

After last night it is obvious Nick is not fucking around.

All three defendants could win their TCPA motions.
Toei could end up not taking any significant action - just for the sake of argument.

And Nick will still have knocked the fuck out of the scumbags at Funimation with just the possibility that some booze drinking lawyer on youtube from Minnesota could kill their biggest cash cow with just a single show.

What I get typing funi into youtube.
