It looks like Pogba's witch doctor has turned Mbappe into the first openly gay footballer.

Lost in the fun of transfer deadline day is Senegalese striker Bamba Dieng

The 22 year old striker was playing for Marseille and was a target of both Newcastle and Leeds United. Dieng was a young forward who wasn't getting too much playing time at Marseille but was a talent that other teams were willing to pay for and give a shot to improve with more game time.

Come deadline day, Dieng had an offer from Leeds and flew out to Leeds for his medical. While there, Nice made an offer for him. This prompted him to reject Leeds and fly to Nice for his medical and to sign. After the deadline had closed, Dieng failed his medical with Nice and is now stuck at Marseille with his chances in England promptly gone. So he is probably going to be stuck on the bench and lower French League teams unless he becomes really good while playing for Marseille's B side and making some substitute appearances in Ligue 1

Apparently Uber Eats Ligue Un let you have one signing out of the window so hope for him yet

We may have lost our first league game against FC Bayern with 6:1 but today we fucked up RaBa Leipzig with 4:0.

Also FC Bayern only played 1:1 against Union Berlin. They were dominant during the whole game but couldn't score another goal. Union Berlin had 7 shots and only 2 on the goal, FC Bayern had 21 shots and 6 on the goal. Like last weekend against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

SC Freiburg is now ranked 1st in Bundesliga. This is first time since I-don't-fucking-know-when that not FC Bayern is ranked 1st. 2nd is Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern is only 3rd.

United winning wouldn't prove that there has been a corner turned, it would just show that Arsenal can't compete for the title.
Arsenal are without Zinchenko and potentially Odegaard and Ramsdale. They are also missing Partey and Elneny. So that's 4 potential starters out for a trip to Old Trafford. If Arsenal win, they would actually show the depth needed to challenge City. United winning probably doesn't mean much.

Should be a United win or a draw tbh

Thoughts on the West Ham vs Chelsea game
Cornet should have won it for West Ham. How he doesn't head the ball into an open net while uncontested is beyond me. It took more skill to hit the post than to score or head it wide
Decline Rice's defense on Chelsea's second goal was so terrible. Chelsea have a 2 on 1 and Chilwell gets free while Rice does literally nothing to defend it
That wasn't a foul.
Chelsea have lost all rights to complain about the Tottenham game

Philadelphia Union have a chance to win the Supporter's Shield (winning the league) in addition to hopefully winning MLS Cup.

The MLS has one thing over European and South American leagues in that you never know who is going to be good. I remember the Union being utter dog shit for years
