Nah, those gypsies were lucky to stay in the game with us. Their goal was a fluke and we should have killed off the game before halftime but it’s fine to sit back and protect the result towards the end.

Apparently the English squad is the best in the world and the one every team here dreads facing, that any player could walk into any other team easy, and that Southgate is the best tournament football manager England have ever had.

So the English TV pundits are keeping expectations realistic and will no way be pretending they never said any of it once they bottle it.
 
Ingurrland has once in a lifetime generational talent; same as the Beckham years apparently but still produces shithouse performances every game. Their media are all on fucking drugs thinking they’re gonna win the title let alone win the group stage.
 
Jude Bellingham is a clown. What was he doing with that goal celebration? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player get so much PR from the media, how much more does he expect?

Looking at their fixture, there's a high chance belgium will be eliminated in the group stage.

Belgium might squeak through with 3 points and a decent GD after watching Ukraine decide to promote their war that is going on for over 2 years instead of playing well. But that would be a long shot

One thing has nothing to do with the other, at the stage you can promote anything you want as long as the organizaners and rules allow it, they being bad at their game is another issue.
 
Mbappe is out until the knockout rounds with a broken nose. He will be wearing a protective mask looking like a brown ninja turtle when he returns.
 
The game I expected to be the least interesting turns out to be a real banger. The midfield does not exist, it's only attacking or defending, really nice goals are the cherry on top. Georgia Vs Turkey so far is the best game of the tournament and will be hard to top for sheer entertainment value.

I was discussing this with a friend when we were watching it. Ronaldo is so adamant to have every ball played through to him and to have control over every set piece that it's bringing the entire team down. There's so much talent and depth in that team but they can't play how they should with Ronaldo in it.

I'd much rather take my chances with João Felix or Goncalo Ramos up front instead of playing the 'Cristiano Ronaldo & Friends' team.
