Such a weird non-start of a tournament so far. The only team to look dominant was Germany for their first match against Scotland. England are genuinely shit, Italy, Spain and France are squeaking by, Belgium are a failed nation state who should disband and Portugal look like they're running through sand.

Everyone is playing conservative "don't attack too much or a single hole might form in our midfield" shitball bar the Eastern European shit teams who are out for blood.
 
Hungary striker Barnabas Varga was carried off on a stretcher following a mid-air clash with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn in Sunday night's Euro 2024 match. The match was held up for nearly seven minutes as Varga received lengthy treatment on the pitch in Stuttgart.

Looks like he collided with Scotland keeper Angus Gunn's elbow during a three-person collision, and his body went into spasms afterwards. Can't see any update as of this post other than being stretchered off. For what it's worth Hungary won the game 1-0 in the 10th minute of injury time to knock Scotland out of the Euros.

Luciano Spalletti is a fraud who would have been sacked immediately after that game if not for the individual brilliance of 2 players. I'm pissed off because my club has an agreement in principle with Calafiori and his price tag just went up like 20M after what he just did. Only for Italy to delay the inevitable, they are nowhere near beating a top country right now especially with this turtle headed jerkoff as coach.

You wouldn’t think so if you were reading r/soccer. They are all jerking eachother off about ‘excitement’ and ‘best tournament ever’. The amount of nil nils and barely scraped by one nils is embarrassing. Games are defensive and boring as fuck. ‘Best teams’ in the tournament can barely scrape by with a win. I don’t know if this is a comment on how shit good teams are or how good shit teams are but I would love a major upset this tournament.

Best game so far imo has been Turkey vs Georgia. It wasn't even that amazing but compared to everyone else shitting the bed it was fun to watch and had constant highlights throughout.
