Just read that Kolo Muani is going on a loan to Juventus.

Reminder that Frankfurt got Kolo Muani for free and P$G paid us 95 million to get him lol this club is a fucking joke.

The rumour mill says that Nuri Sahin is done and Ten Hag is going to show up in Dortmund soon.

lol

lmao even

I still don't get the Tersic -> Sahin move. They are the exact type of coach. But yeah, Ten Hag will bring back the winner mentality to Dortmund....

Allegedly Neymar is leaving Saudi-Arabia and going back to FC Santos.

Completely forgot that Neymar exists until I read this news.
Beat me to it.

Indeed, all parts involved are in for Neymar's triumphant return to his original club... On a lease.
Such is the fate of past-their-prime superstars down here.

Also Dortmund gifted Bologna their 1st ever CL win by giving away a 1:0 lead within o n e minute.

And Sahin is officially gone.

Alleged candidates for the job are Joachim Löw (lol), Niko Kovac (rofl), Roger Schmidt (nope), ten Haag (lmao) and Dortmund's U19 coach who allegedly declined an offer from a 1st division club in Norway bc Dortmund higher ups asked him to stay for "just in case". Which seems weird that this happened again bc Nuri Sahin declined an offer from an unknown club too before he became the replacement for Terzic.

Alright, time to run down Champions League and try to make sense of it since they decided to make this new format so much more complicated. So here we go.

Qualified for R16- Liverpool, Barcelona

Need a tie for R16- Inter, Arsenal

Win for R16- Atletico, AC Milan, Atalanta

Has a legit shot at R16- Leverkusen (currently hold R16 bye with GD), Aston Villa, Monaco, Feyenoord, Lille, Brest (all on 13 points)
Dortmund, Bayern, Real Madrid, Juventus, Celtic (All on 12 points)

Most likely in the Knockout stages- PSV, Club Brugge (Just need a point to stay up)

Probably need a win to qualify for the next round- Benfica, PSG, Sporting, Stuttgart

If they don't win, they are out- Man City, Dinamo Zagreb, Shakhtar (8 points, 8 points, 7 points)

Already eliminated- Bologna, Sparta Praha, Leipzig, Girona, Red Star, Sturm Graz, Salzburg, Bratislava, Young Boys

The games in the final week and what they mean

PSV vs Liverpool- PSV just need a point to get in and Liverpool with a point win the league
Bayern vs Bratislava- Bayern need to win in order to push for a bye. They lost to Feyenoord putting them in a bad spot
Dortmund vs Shakhtar- Dortmund can potentially get a bye but Shakhtar need a win to have any hope of advancing
Leverkusen vs Praha- Leverkusen need to win and win big to keep their bye. Praha is eliminated so it could get ugly
Arsenal vs Girona- Girona eliminated and Arsenal need a point to advance. Queue the Arsenal loss
Barcelona vs Atalanta- Win gives Atalanta a bye and Barca already have a bye
Brest vs Real Madrid- Winner can potentially get a bye, loser will be in the knockout stages
Man City vs Club Brugge- City win and they are in. A win puts them even on points with Brugge and gives them a better GD. Draw or loss gets Brugge into the knockouts
Young Boys vs Red Star- Who cares
Lille vs Feyenoord- Both on 13 points and winner might get a bye. Both teams are in the knockout stage
Juventus vs Benfica- Juve have an outside shot at a bye but Benfica need a win to stay safe in Champions league.
Aston Villa vs Celtic- Villa are missing out on a bye with 1 GD on Leverkusen and need a win here. Celtic win could push them close to a bye but they are safely into the next round
AC Milan vs Dinamo Zagreb- Milan are most likely through with a bye if they get a draw here but Zagreb need a win to potentially stay alive. Would need help as well since they are on the outside looking in
Inter vs Monaco- Monaco could potentially leap frog Inter with the right result but Inter just need a draw to get to R16
Sturm Graz vs Leipzig- Who cares
Salzburg vs Atletico- Salzburg eliminated and Atletico win gets them into R16
Sporting vs Bologna- Bologna eliminated and Sporting need a win to advance to the knockouts safely
Stuttgart vs PSG- Winner guarantees safety, loser hopes for the best to advance

Top 5 games to watch
City vs Brugge
Stuttgart vs PSG
Inter vs Monaco
Real Madrid vs Brest
Lille vs Feyenoord

P$G and Stuttgart both only need a point to move on. From an article on Sportschau:

"The most problematic constellation is the match between VfB Stuttgart and Paris Saint-Germain. Stuttgart are in 24th place, Paris are in 22nd place and the teams are eliminated from 25th place in the table before the final matchday: A draw is enough for both teams to progress in the direct duel - unless Dinamo Zagreb wins with a seven-goal difference against AC Milan. There are further requirements: Both teams from Lisbon would have to pick up at least one point, while Eindhoven would not be allowed to squander its four-goal superior goal difference."

Personally I'm not sure what to think of the CL mode at the moment. There are some huge arguments to be against it, obviously, but I'm going to wait and see how the last matchday will play out.

Not a fan of it. Literally every team is playing at the same time for the final round. Its too much. I would rather have those 5 games that actually matter be up and the rest of the games just be necessary to happen. It also was spread over 2 days and 2 different kick off times so you could watch the important games. This is just bullshit

Does MLS teams have anthems/hymns?

I just realized that South American/European have older sounding songs since they fucking are. But since MLS are recent teams I wouldn't be surprised that they used hip hop beats to it.

Probably, but I wouldn't know because MLS has exclusively been on the Apple TV plus streaming service for the past few seasons. I like (or liked) MLS, but not enough to subscribe to that or to watch pirate streams. I've mostly been following the USA since World Cup 1994.

Lets see what we learned today in England

-Fuck Michael Oliver. Dude needs to get demoted to League 1
-Up the fucking Cherries
-David Moyes is so back
-Liverpool is clearly the best team in the country
-Southampton are going to get relegated
-Either Man City is back or everyone pretending Chelsea were in a title race are fucking retarded
