those two lolis were set to be able to be married, but xseed did made so to not make that happen, if i remember well? there had to be a dlc for that that was cancelled.
Which one was that for?

Also that's incredibly funny they won't let you marry them when they won't give you big boobed auntie from Rune Factory 5, either.

Is the fanbase a bunch of fujos? Like I get one gay offering. You might as well have one. But it shouldn't be at the cost of big boob oba-san.

Nasu refuses to put the remake of Tsukihime on PC because of piracy, what do you mean?
The  remake, yeah no shit they wanna protect the new shit lol. Its been 19 years since F/SN came out, even longer for the OG Tsukihime, and piracy is pretty well how the west read them back then and still does. I don't think a single man in the west has gone to jail for a copy of Fate.

Got examples of Xseed fucking around? I haven't seen anything, but I'd like to know.
While I don't have examples, here is the new replacement. You'll see that everything is in good hands. By that, I mean ugh.

What's this image about?
The blonde petite woman (Rivia) is the police chief of the town station, and the purple-haired girl (Redia) is the dragon deity in human form, similar to the other dragon character in RF4. As @woowie queen pointed out, they were popular characters that the japanese audience wanted to have as DLC partner characters, prior to the official release, but XSEED prevented that to happen.

Erushi and Misasagi.pngSimone.png
Can't remember if those three characters (in respective order: Erushie, Misasagi and Simone) were planned to be partner DLCs as well. I know this is a game aimed for teens but even my younger self would have preferred these mommy substitutes mature ladies over the main heroines, so I don't doubt there was a like-minded bunch as well.

According to this japanese wiki (in the "issue points" -問題点 section), besides the large amount of bugs & crashes, the game is also plagued by:
-Long loading times (specifically when loading the game and save datas),
-Sluggish character movement,
-The low amount and poor quality/diversity of conversation dialogues (a massive decrease from previous games accordingly),
-No freedom of how the characters can call the MC,
-No more seasonal crop fields,
-Undermined battle system (such as too many stun-lock enemies in the early part of the game apparently),
-No New Game+ data transfer (which was introduced in RF4),
-Very hard and inconvenient to own a proper house for little to no rewards,
among several other things.

So yeah, the game was practically doomed and XSEED just did something unnecessary, but again considering the company's track record, they have a knack to spend a lot of resources on trainwrecks.

If I remember correctly, there was one heroine (Lucy, below) that the female MC could romance in the original japanese release of Rune Factory 5, before XSEED's full involvement.

The japs are just too autistic about piracy because of how strict their local laws on piracy are and kvetch about how they can't do anything if its foreigners doing it. I'm pretty sure many also throw a fit if you stream a VN because that's basically a lost sale to them, which to be fair they are selling them for like $60-80 a pop back in Japan. Nasu though really shouldnt care given F/GO makes more in a day than probably the entire profits of a new proper TypeMoon VN.

I think a guy actually went to jail for streaming Steins;Gate recently. Pretty ridiculous.

To put that in context, the wiki article that's 3 years out of date for a mobile gacha, puts it at a $4billion franchise and 99% of that is from F/GO. F/SN sold well for VN but that amounts to nothing. Tsukihime sold even less prior. The licensing from the multiple anime series and movies I don't even think count in that. The remake of Tsukihime was annouced 13 years ago and only released two years ago. Fate/Extra games sold well in Japan but the first never made it to the west and the second/Extella sold pretty terribly outside Japan, too. There's literally no reason for him to make VNs at this point and just write shit for F/GO and even then, he's too lazy to write all the chapters. I love hate this autistic franchise.

Edit: It's made even worse by Fate/Strange Fake being written by someone even fucking slower: Narita. It was announced in 2008 and still ongoing. We'll all be dead before this franchise ever finishes anything.

@BananaSplit²
From what I understand XSeed is just the American distributor. I don't think they get full say on what Marvelous does since they operate on their own outside of the US. I think this was just Marvelous being Marvelous, because they did a similar dumb bullshit with the Valhalla Knights 3 debacle where they released the game, then released a DLC thing, but instead of waiting for the golden edition to be finished just localized the unfinished game. Then decided it wasn't financially feasible to localize the golden edition or DLC.

I mean it could be XSeed, they got retards there, I just don't know because Marvelous on their own do really stupid shit. They probably had another look at their coffers and realized the budget wasn't there, but hey, if it gets XSeed in the crossfire and properly scrutinized, I'm for that too.
