I thought it was an okay episode too, can't complain when we get more of the Hound.

Daenerys plotlines have always been the worst part of the show in my opinion, I started just forwarding past most scenes with her ever since
she got her unsullied army from an apparently experienced slave trader who was shocked that after trading away an army of basically mind controlled men they could be ordered to kill him and take back a dragon he couldn't control.

I never really gave a shit about Daenerys to begin with.

It was pretty much set in stone from the VERY beginning that she was going to survive, become queen, blah blah blah. I actually cared more about the people in her company like Grey Worm, Jorah, and Barristan. She doesn't go through the shit that Theon, Jon, Tyrion, and Ned Stark do, which makes her a little less interesting. Granted she did lose her kid, but come on. Theon lost his fucking cock and other parts of his body, Ned lost his head, Jon got the everliving fuck stabbed out of him before coming back to life, had to hang a fucking kid that was old enough to be his younger brother, and having to fight in a battle so brutal you'd think he would end up dying until THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVED. And Tyrion? Shit, the only woman he loved and thought loved him back ended up banging his father, his family treated him like utter shit, and was pretty much set up to be executed before Varys, aka the fucking High Lord of House Deus Ex Machina came in and rescued his midget ass, but shortly before that got used by his own brother to kill their father. But naw. Naw, naw, naw. Daenerys doesn't have to go through that shit because plot armor, I guess.

The show's not even had the books to lean on for awhile. GRRM obviously isn't the best at certain things, but D&D are worse and it shows.

It's still an ok spectacle if you shut your brain off.

I'm glad Dorne is pretty much over with, at any rate. Fucking hated Dorne. It was pretty much just "Empowered Lesbians" thrown in your face constantly.

I thought Euron's gift to Cersei would be Dragonbinder, but it looks like it's going to be Ellaria, the murderer of Cersei's daughter. The Mountain is going to have some fun with her.

Good to see Dany call out Varys, Nice darkly comedic scene between Samwell and Jorah, Jim Broadbent is great as usual too, loved Oleanna being Oleanna, it seems that the Unsullied just lose the stones, Arya and Nymeria reunite for fucking nothing, DIE SANSA, Jon saw right through Littlefinger's shit and I love it, and Euron is fucking awesome in battle 'Gi' yer uncle a kiiiiiiiss!'
 
Didn't realize Sansa was this disliked.

I mean, she's far from my favorite character, but eh.

A little bit worried about finding out these next two seasons are going to be super short. Like, only 13 episodes? That doesn't sound like it's enough to properly cover and flesh out what I assume is going to be a big battle royale and the whole deal with the White Walkers.

I'm glad that Arya's coming back to Winterfell.
