Amelia’s roommate literally streamed like normal a few days before debut in Hololive. Gura’s roommate did not have fix streaming schedule so it’s expected. Whoever was selected for HoloEN2 can just stream like casul until 24hrs before their debut that’s when they private all their vods or nuke it to oblivion like Ame.
IRyS herself had dedicate clipper on her roommate and those guys start seeing influx of “cringe comments” like “rabbit hole, forbidden knowledge, etc.”on their video as well while the girl accidentally dox herself before debut. What surprised me more is that IRyS manage to gather a lot of salt on Twitter even though the girls had 10+ years under her belt with sizable audiences (maybe even more than Kiara and Calli’s roommates)

It's Vtweeters, what do you expect? I mean, I can sort of understand their point. One of my friends is a Vtuber, and while I don't know her feelings on this, I'd imagine it must be really hard on a low-end Vtuber to struggle finding an audience or making ends meet, even more so while you see anyone who debuts in Hololive completely catapult in viewers and donations. Regardless, the way Vtweeters talk about it feels like they treat Holo debutees as if they were just gifted everything, when in reality they've been hauling ass as hard as they can for years on end, which is more than what most of those being toxic can say.
